Let's Get Invisible! - The Goosebumps Monthly

Max and his friends discover a mysterious mirror and lamp in the attic. When you turn on the lamp, you turn invisible! When you turn off the lamp, you become visible again! So, really, it's a magic light bulb story, but I suppose "magic mirror" is a more traditional hook. Decided to see what the future might hold. If my count is correct, next October (skipping the ones you've already done) we get The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight. Perfect! The October after that is The Barking Ghost. While I generally remember the plot, I've never read the book, and it's an episode I don't remember very well. Not sure if that means it wasn't memorable, or they just didn't rerun it much. A year after that, Ghost Camp...that works... The following January you get to make a joke about doing Attack of the Jack O'Lanterns in January! After that, My Best Friend is Invisible, which I've only seen the ending of, and know the twist is stupid. I think Fox Kids agreed, I kind of noticed that it was shown that one (I believe) Saturday, I came in just as it was ending, and then I never saw it reran. And then you should wrap up in March of 2021, so I can't speculate which Goosebumps series you'd do after that.

I enjoyed this review. As embarrassing as it is this series was the beginning of recreational fiction reading for me, though of course Animorphs would ultimately make a far larger impact- I basically dumped Goosebumps once that series started.
