I'd say there's still one other way it could be used: Give the camera a mind of its own, and an ability to adapt somewhat to its owner trying not to use it. This would likely require a shorter time frame, to give the characters less time to think and adapt, but I think you could still get at least three more pictures this way: the first is of an inanimate object as a test (the object is involved in another character's injury, such as tripping over it), the second time the camera goes off on its own while being held carelessly, the third time another character sets it off trying to pry it from Greg's hands (pretty sure that happened at least once between the two episodes).
