These are renders showing the progression of Bonnies head design. With Bonnie being my favorite character, I had to make sure I got his design just right. There were a lot of problems with his design due to an Ex Concept Artis getting in the way of what his design was meant to be. We managed to pull through. What do you think?

Files

V.1 Bonnie was made by one of our modelers (and bad directing from an ex concept artist). The eyes are really big & he looks melted.
V.2 Bonnie is modeled by me, with features closer to scotts model. I forgot to add the whiskers to the rest of these renders.
V.3 Bonnie has a way chunkier jaw, and his nose rests a bit lower on his snout.
V.4 Bonnie had his features smoothed out. Such as his brow detail, and his jaw line is not as sharp. His top teeth were shortened as well.
V.5 Bonnie's color changed to be more INDIGO as oppose to blue or purple. His bottom teeth were flattened, and we gave him better eyes.
This is a test of V.5 Bonnies fear factor. This will most likely be the final design. I think it works.

I like the design and the evolution, but something about it just isn't...clicking yet, imo. Idk, I'm not a professional art critic😂😂. I think a lot of my critique will depend on how it actually looks in a scene. In my subjective opinion, it's difficult to get a good grasp of how individual parts will affect the whole until you have a vertical slice of that final product with all intended parts therein. Of course we won't see that until the film is nearly ready, but for now I think both the Bonnie and Freddy models work well, so long as minor tweaks and changes are being done along the way to keep it in line with the rest of the growing project.

They do look weird, and that’s partially because they don’t have proper textures. It’ll all come together in the end.
