RPO M19 WOOHOO LIFE: a more up-to-date preview

BE WARNED: These are (Euphemistic but) MATURE Topics!

WooHoo drive

First of all, note that WooHoo drive can be enabled or disabled in settings globally.

[NOTE: the text is still unfinished, and that's why some of the text on screenshot below just says 'description' at the moment!]

Secondly, if it is enabled globally, you can still disable it for specific Sims also.

NOTE: On WOOHOO DRIVE FLUCTUATIONS: There is a baseline for each sim but then circumstances and actions influence it in actual effect (which manifests as the effective line, which is what 'counts' for the actual sim's drive, but is still connected and relative to the baseline).

WooHoo drive affects how often Sims have the desire to WooHoo, and whether they accept or refuse when propositioned (you will always know if a Sim refuses due to WooHoo drive, as they say so in a notification).

A hidden motive is part of it, which moves at different speeds depending on the sim's WooHoo drive.

If a Sim who has WooHoo drive does not WooHoo for a length of time (the exact length depending on their drive and other factors), they can get lustful, which pushes their autonomy towards asking for WooHoo (and makes them less discriminating about who they would ask to, also).

In a relationship, if Sims have balanced wooHoo drives, they are satisfied to see that their propositions are rarely rejected and get a relevant moodlet.

However, in case of unbalanced drives between partners, it is the opposite. Sims can get frustrated.

[NOTE: I have just started my testing of WooHoo Drive stuff and therefore haven't captured the below moodlets in the wild yet; so I cheated them on for you to have images nonetheless]

Especially when a Sim is at a 'it's been a long time without' stage, being rejected when knowing that drives don't match in the relationship can cause serious frustration to a Sim.

Such a Sim or their partner might decide to offer to open up the relationship or engage in Expanded WooHoo, via reactions that become available directly in the aftermath of a rejection, with related wording for extra precise storytelling (they can also use the usual menus too).

Sims can also complain / enthuse about the state of their woohoo life, and ask each other about woohoo life history.

Sims who wish to increase their WooHoo drive can take supplements. It is left to your interpretation of the supplements or (stuff to balance hormones, or food supplements, or both).

Not necessarily realistic, but supplements can also be used to decrease drive, just because I figured some of you might like that for storytelling.

[NOTE: there is a grammatical person shift on the screenshot below, which has been fixed since!]

Sims can ask each other about WooHoo drive, so they can know what's what before getting in a serious relationship. There is no right or wrong, it's just a matter of finding someone who is in balance with them.

Sims can also increase their drive or satisfaction in relationships with unbalanced drives by engaging in "self woohoo".

A sim's feelings about self woohoo are different for sims who are 'Shy about WooHoo Life' than for others.

WooHoo Location Preferences

Just as the name says!

Gives extra moodlet when woohoo happens in a Sim's fav location.

WooHoo styles, roles and preferences

Your Sims can have WooHoo styles, roles and preferences.

If you define none, the Sim is considered up for anything / without preference.

You can also randomize them if you want.

You decide whether or not styles, roles and preferences should impact acceptance and refusal of WooHoo, via a global setting.

If a Sim refuses WooHoo because of incompatible WooHoo styles or WooHoo roles, you will always know because they will say so in a notification.

WooHoo styles and roles are also useful when browsing the WookUp app, as they appear listed in profiles to help your Sim decide who to meet up with.

NOTE: On WooHoo Preference Exploration: The Exploring and discovery system makes it so that Sims can choose that they're 'exploring' Woohoo styles and roles and acquire them naturally after Woohooing with other sims as they try new things and discover what they like or don't like that way

Sims can ask each other about their style and role preferences.

They'll answer clearly unless they're 'Shy about WooHoo Life'.

They can also tell others about their preferences, which results in various possible answers depending on both Sims' preferences, and on wether or not the listener is 'Shy about WooHoo Life'.

Note that answers and interactions regarding WooHoo life depend on a Sim's comfort level with such topics. By default, Sims are fine discussing things openly, but you can make them extra open to discussion or not open at all via extra aspects.

(Note that the wording has been changed from 'free' to 'open' since the screenshot has been taken)

WookUp

This is similar to the all-purpose Meet&Mingle Sims dating app, except strictly for hookups.

Consequently, the options, text and filters offered are focused on that.

Extra Aspects

You've already seen about the extra aspects that have to do with comfort levels around the topics of WooHoo life; additional celibacy gameplay will also feature under extra aspects (but perhaps only after first release as I've not finished this stuff at the moment), as well as other stuff I'm transferring over from another project. You'll see more on that at beta release :)

PROGRESS STATUS

There are many scenarios to test through, and then things to balance and tweak accordingly.

I have no idea therefore how much longer this will take. But we are at the stage where I test through everything in relation to everything else and balance, adjust and tweak. So, we are quite close to the end.

This mod has been taking extra time partly because, beyond the trouble caused by the 'I had to work from a tiny tablet for some weeks' situation, the mod is built on a lot of custom script 'architecture' so to speak (like honestly most of my stuff these days!). The result is that the stuff loaded on your Sims by this mod will be lighter than it could have been otherwise, or so was the point haha.

____________________________

That's it for that!

I'll keep on working on it and when possible will have a beta out for the suggestion / request post.

Feedback welcome of course!

Thanks again and till next time!

This is amazing. Just when I think you've thought of everything, you think of something else that totally adds so much to our storylines. I literally could not play if not for your mods. Thank you for this!!

Lilith

I love your mods so much so this update will be amazing as always. Can't imagine playing my game without your mods. It makes Sims 4 so much more fun and real. Thank you for the time you take to make this.

Hey Lumpinou, a Suggestion would be to add Incompatible WooHoo Drives/ Roles for a reason for Cheating / Separation / Break Ups. Thanks

Can't say really, but the community beta testing should be starting day after tomorrow or so
