Mod 13 of the Relationship & Pregnancy Overhaul collection.

Last updated: Dec 20, Official Release

Shortnotes:
- Miscarriage mod with either Individual (sim-by-sim) or Global risk.
- Statistical and event-triggered chances.
- Sim will go to the hospital if something is wrong, and come back either with their pregnancy safe or not.
- Reactions are a bit different based on RPO Mod 1's pregnancy wishes if you have it.
- When a miscarriage occurs, an urn is added to the inventory.
- From the urn, you can name the unborn baby and decide or not to integrate to family tree.

See Full Description HERE

DOWNLOAD:

- remove everything from versions anterior to v2.9 official release, including setting files.

- grab the RPO Core Library if you don't have it;

- grab the file from this post and put it directly into your mods folder or one subfolder (it's a .package file, so, not extracting!)

Hi is there a way to cheat trigger miscarriage for storytelling purposes? I can't seem to find it in the menu anywhere?

lumpinou

Yes, it's either under reproductive Health then status, or under pregnancy and family then status

Is this an individual mod or do you have to download mutable mods for this to work?

lumpinou

You need the core with it but that's it if that's all you want of the collection, that's fine

also I downloaded this mod but and it shows up in my mods list when i open the sims 4 but I dont have the settings for it to set the chance of a miscarriage

Anonymous

hi, since the update the option for a cheat miscarriage has disappeared. The cheats available under Pregnancy Status are: Terminate pregnancy, freeze pregnancy and give birth now. With terminate pregnancy, my sims bump disappears, but she has no feelings about it. Before the update you got the warnings to go to hospital

lumpinou

Hi, That's still in the mod, it probably moved to 'reproductive health' though

Anonymous

Ahh, I'll have a look

Anonymous

Thanks, found it

Hi, I can't seem to find the "reproductive health" menu where the cheat miscarriage button is supposed to be?

Anonymous

I think I found the issue after messing around, the menu doesn't show up for sims families played BEFORE the mod is downloaded, but if you go into another family that wasn't played with before, then the menu shows up. I also have some of your other mods downloaded as well as Wonderful Whims so idk if that effects anything

where do i adjust the setting from? my sim nearly died from being so sad and devastated

lumpinou

Individual rates are under 'reproductive health'. To switch to global and or adjust global rates, it's in global settings, under 'actions'

If I use this module, should I turn off "allow miscarriage" in WW or do the two not affect each other?

lumpinou

It doesn't affect each other, so it's up to you if your sim's should have two risk systems apply to them at once, personally I'd just pick one aha, Sims don't deserve to suffer that much do they 😂

If you didn't know the sex of the child while pregnant, is there a way to tell the sex of the unborn baby from the urn or elsewhere so you can use a preferred name for your family tree/urn?

Anonymous

Also, is there a way to label the naming popup First Name and Last Name so I don't put both names in the first box and end up with a weirdsies epitaph in the family tree like my first try?

lumpinou

I'll add a tooltip on hover to indicate what the birth gender would have been!

How does the 1-5 reproductive health rating affect the 10% base line? Just curious loving the mod!

lumpinou

Hi, There is in fact no 10% baseline combined with individual rate. If you are on individual mode, the individual rate 0 to 5 is what counts, whicj I apply in the mod calculations to other rates that playerd can't access, and the whole thing also gets modified by individual factors such as age etc. If you are on global, the global rate applies, purely.
