Hello again and thanks so much for your support!
We are here for a suggestion / request post!

* Suggestions for Today's New Mod 

 You'll notice I release the lgbtqia+ mod earlier today. Unusual, but, for this one I think it makes more sense to take requests / suggestions after release than before, so that you can explore it first. 

Be aware that yes, there'll be some gameplay updates in the future (mostly I want to add more 'natural' ways for played sims to discover their identities / orientations). Small suggestions for gameplay are therefore acceptable!! :)

Other than that - this is your post to make small / reasonable feature suggestion / requests for it!

* In news, a new version of Relationship & Pregnancy Overhaul with its new settings system is going to come very soon, I am wrapping up loose ends on it and then it's done! I hope you'll like the extra customization opportunities.

As well as for WoohooDrive I have no doubt that you already thought which traits will naturally influence that - as well as life stages aka teenagers (yes, often the drive here is high, hormones are a bitch) and young adults in contrast to elders. Though of course elders can still have a high woohoodrive 😉. Hormonal cycles and pregnancies influence your drive. Activities in the romantic field might increase it, dancing, sport activites that raise your adrenaline. Like bad relationshops will make it simmer - though some sims might get a high from being angry through their traits. Food can influence drive irl so why not here? Health situations and medication ... of course the traits of your LGBTQIA+-Mod interplay here well too.

Well, my first post disappeared - concerning discovering your orientation through natural gameplay - everything interacting with relationship, romance, intimacy through books, films, art will make you discover your various interest or lack thereof. Having your first kiss and woohoo will make you realize your interests or lack thereof - quoting: I kissed a girl and liked it - or not. Going to the romance festival gives certainly hints in all directions. The swimming pool will show you who attracts your eye or if you couldn´t care less. Watching team sports might give a hint ;-) Just some first thoughts

Would it be possible to include some sort of satisfaction level dependent on the size of your partner?

Situations like the way your partner is dressed - or undressed - would influence the drive (nightwear, swimwear, nakedness), if your partner wears what you like, likes and dislikes certainly will influence the drive, pregnancy wish, stress at work, success at work ...

- Partners can ask if pregnant or if they are the father. This can lead into the reaction (unhappy/happy) that currently happens. Right now only way to get a reaction is if the pregnant sim tells the father. - A rekindle/rebound type thing where former love interests or exes will contact to ask for another try. - For cheating allow others to tell on partner if witnessed or a prompt that other sim will threaten to tell partner's spouse. - Last I miss the ability to break up by texting lol.

Are there any plans to add something akin to HRT for Trans Sims that would change their body frame? I know that often overtime folks will choose to go on HRT and that will change their frame to more fully represent their gender identity.

Hi, I am working on in-depth transition options. Yesterday I finished the quick cheats for it. Now I am working on the gameplay equivalent. Lots of stuff (hormone therapy and more!). At the bottom of my mod description page there is a box that says 'what is in development for this mod Right Now?' that shows what I'm working on, and that's exactly it at the moment :) I put a screenshot of my quick cheats there. For the gameplay features, I am making several surgeries, hormone therapies, speech therapy etc. Hormone therapy is over 4 sim days (pregnancy being 3 and being 9 months, I tried to go for a 'year' there, which is required before being allowed for surgery for the Sims who'll want that). Anyway, just stay tuned haha

I'm not sure if its possible and if this request is even allowed so just ignore me if any of the above apply lol but it would be cool to see you do some mod work with Basemental Drugs. Like creating a medical marijuana system, getting a medical card, have certain strands to help with certain things like anxiety or PTSD or even something else like cancer. create some new objects that involve game play that can also interact with your other mods like R&P mod or mood mod. Just some ideas. I'm still waiting for someone to come up with something for PTSD and service dogs. I wish i knew how to do this stuff lol

Why are you "requiring" a year of HRT prior to surgery (if I understand you correctly)? That's not an actual requirement (at least here in the US). Nor I think not a requirement via WPATH standards. There is no one right "path" through transition, where you must have one step in order to have others. Each person's transition and path is unique to them. But help me understand what you are thinking here, I may have misunderstood.

Hi! Two reasons: 1. at least some metoidioplasty approaches (I want to say 'most' if not all, from what I have read) require having been on hrt due to needing the clitoris to be enlarged by that before performing the surgery, or so medical sources said (I don't know for phalloplasty). And 2. 12 continuous months of hrt are listed in the wpath standards for bottom surgery. While wpath is justifiably controversial, all hospital / doctor sites I found all said they were following those and wouldn't do bottom surgery without that. Therefore, between the hospitals naming the necessity for hormone-caused enlargements for at least some metoidioplasties and that wpath business, I included the restriction. It is not solely about what I personally think, but also and very often mostly about what I find out there :) We don't have to have full realism, but we don't want to completely romanticize things either. That surgery is a big deal so I decided to go by those two realism based reasons to restrict it to sims who've done hrt. As many things in this mod, this also is a bunch of difficult choices to make in terms of Gameplay... Now, if I had a lot of people saying it's a bad choice, I'd be happy to revise. If we are talking about what I am thinking, yes I would agree that each person's path is different. Which is why in my mod, each sim can decide to do any, none, or all of the non medical and / or medical choices for gender affirmation. There is no directed path and no obligation, there would have been no reason for me to put one. The only place where there is a requirement is that one you mentioned, due to the aforementioned reasons

I understand- I was thinking top surgery which is more common (due to expense, complications etc). In my area a lot of people opt for top surgery w/out getting further surgery (Ftm, or nonbinary), for which there are no HRT requirements, only. So when you use the term "surgery" in the mod, that's what I'm thinking.

Yeah no it's only for bottom surgery that there's the requirement! The text in game also does specify that
