Hello dear Patrons, thank you for being here!

As the title says, testing is ongoing for part 2 of the WooHoo Wellness mod. It's pretty much done, it just needs to be checked over thoroughly and there's a lot of possible configurations to look through! I'm testing with 3 other people and we're doing our best. Once testing is satisfactory the mod will be released, it's a very soon matter now.
The systems involved are somewhat complex, and this is the kind of mod where the bulk of the work will remain invisible to the player. That is why this release took a lot more time than I would have liked or believed. I had to change my system several times around.

For now, I thought I'd leave below some quick notes that you'll be able to refer to as 'instructions' for the mod. The images shared above are also some 'quick notes' and examples of what is in the mod. Ignore typos in there, they'll be fixed by release, I hadn't gone through grammar check yet.

WooHoo Wellness Part 2: QUICK 'INSTRUCTION' NOTES
Each of the diseases ( UTIs, Herpes, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, AIDS, yeast, trichomoniasis) has a more Sim-fitting equivalent if you use the Simmlish version.
How do the WTDs work?
- WTDs are caught through Unprotected WooHoo. UTIs and yeast infections can happen anytime, but the rest will not happen unless the Sim WooHoo’d with has a disease that they can pass on.
- Transmission risk: for the Sim world, out of outbreak herpes is not contagious; yeast and UTI are not either. Everything else can be transmitted.  Risk of diseases being symptomatic or not are based on real-life statistics per gender per disease.
- Diseases are either fully asymptomatic, or with gradual symptoms.
o If symptomatic, at first, a Sim will be asymptomatic, then symptoms start and increase
For example, a UTI will get worse quickly. If untreated for a long time, not only does it get worse, but kidney failure may happen, which will send your Sim to the hospital and they may suffer permanent consequences. A yeast infection will get worse quickly then stabilize; it won’t go away until treated. Same with symptomatic cases of gonorrhea and chlamydia.

o If fully asymptomatic: the Sim will not be aware of anything but will be able to transmit the disease. Getting tested will reveal it also.
 - Some of these diseases have extremely similar symptom, for that reason they may share symptoms and moodlets until diagnosed. Because the Sim can't know which it is! For example, Gonorrhea and Chlamydia share this way.
- Sims in the world will have a chance to get diseases randomly. So will your Sims the first time the mod is installed. All their years of unprotected WooHoo are catching up with them. If you don’t want them to be sick, use cheats to cure them of everything. They can be automatically given diseases only once, so no worries after the first installation of the mod.

How Sims can get diseases diagnosed and cured:
- “Go To the doctor” if experiencing symptoms.
- “Go Get Tested” otherwise.
- In both cases, if a disease is found, the Sim will get medication in their inventory.
- Notes:
o Medication is taken automatically unless you set it up to be manual for a specific Sim.
o Manual medication taking is activated by going to the ‘actions’ menu when clicking on your sim. Manual medication taking is done through clicking on the pills in the inventory, and for yeast, through clicking on the toilet.
o While sick, Sims will be much less inclined to WooHoo autonomously. Symptoms will also remain, albeit in check, until the diagnosed disease is cured.
o A Sim may have several diseases at once.
o Herpes and HIV / AIDS are permanent.
o You can cure your Sim through cheats. Have ‘testingcheats on’ in the cheats console, then shift+click on your sick Sim. You’ll find options to cure them, or give them more diseases.
Once diagnosed with a disease:
- Sims will have new interactions (most temporary, some permanent) and moodlets, sometimes traits, depending on the diagnosis.
o “Announce News Of HIV diagnosis” or “Announce news of herpes diagnosis” for permanent WTDs.
o “Announce News of Temporary WTD” if another disease.
§ Once that is done, the Sim who was told can “Accuse of Having Caught a WTD by Cheating”
o “Accuse of Having Given a WTDis also a possibility.
o If medication side effects happen, Sims can complain about that.
o Sims with permanent WTDs will forever have the ability to let love interests know; other Sims may react well or not, and that will unlock more things.
If the treatment is properly followed, temporary WTDs will go away and Sims will be fine. If they fail treatment, they need to try again.

NOTE: For now there are no animations when taking meds manually except for yeast. I intend to have Sims drink wanter with pills eventually. With the automatic medication system though I will not be able to have Sims play out an interaction, so they don't do anything on screen and probably never will in automatic mode.

This looks like it’ll be a really fun mod to play with! (I joined a few days ago because this mod and the religions one looked so cool). I just have one question; will I be able to make my sims have reactions to medication? Like nausea, full-body rash, etc? Again, thank you for making this!

Dana Anna

WOW. I was so excited when WW did crabs haha. This is amazing, I cannot wait.

Strawberriemiki

Can’t wait. It took me a minute to understand WTD and realize what it was lol 😅.

lumpinou

Yep, there's side effects possible, they have a chance to pop out every time a med is taken. If you look at the images, on one of them there's the side effects :)

Dorisa Dever

Can't wait, sounds so realistic

oh your testing this mod for three other people? can i by any chance test the cheating mod ones you start working on it please?

JBlackwell1987

Omg I can’t wait to see it

Can WTDs effect pregnancy? Can WTDs be transferred to sims offspring if not cured?

lumpinou

That's stuff I'm thinking about for an update but for now it's not there

Anonymous

Oh my gosh, this is so in-depth! Definitely can't wait until the mod is ready. One question, in terms of the Risk and Protection folder in Part 1 and its incompatibility with Wicked Whims, will we need to keep that folder for Part 2 to work?

Tania

If two sims have unprotected woohoo together (they've only woohooed with each other), can they still get a wtd?

lumpinou

If neither of them is sick then no. Only Woohoo with a sim who has a disease will cause transmission of that specific disease in one of its forms to another sim. Yeast infections and UTIs can pop up in their own, since they're not a matter of contagion. So how do diseases get out there in the world to begin with? The way this works - each sim in the world will have a slight chnace to be given a disease the first time they pop up in the world. If it's not given, it's not given, the mod will not try again. So there'll be a few Sims out there with diseases. As of now, it's possible that your played Sims will be given a disease this way. I may change that or may not. You can cheat cure them if that happens since it won't happen again, it's once per sim in their entire lifetime. I'll see if I turn it off for played Sims - I should be able to, I have to decide if I want to :) Hope that answers your question! :)

lumpinou

I have not fully investigated yet how far I can push compatibility for this with other mods so I'll have to not answer for now :) For sure it'll be compatible under the same terms as part 1 of the mod, but I will try to push compatibility farther than that. If I can, I will, if I can't, I'll have tried :)

Can't wait!! :D

willl the hiv/aids be deadly over time or will they just be stuck with it till they die over og old age or drowing or whatever you know normal sims deaths lol

EboniSimmer

OMG the suspense! Can't wait!

Anonymous

I having so much fun with part one I can't wait for part 2 thank you for this mods

lumpinou

Adding possible death is in the plans for this... First they'll just be hit harder by the seasons EP diseases. Making death will have to wait till an update

Stephanie

this looks amazing! have you by any chance thought about asking the creater or WW to help to make this compatible with that? :)

Anonymous

I cannot wait to got home & download this 🤗 Question ❓when a sim has HIV or AIDS, if they have a child, will that child get the HIV / AIDS trait too🧐 guess we will have to find out😂

lumpinou

Hi, not for now - it's a bit more complicated to set that up so it's something I will try later - when I add complications for HIV Sims when sick etc. As I mentioned, HIV and Herpes are not quite fully fully done yet; I should be adding to them while working on part 3.
