VDSD 2024 (Patreon)

I had to kind of rush to take action to get this done.  It's for that comic link chain every year where comic authors post a NSFW item.  Getting the information you need to complete it is always last minute.  Some years it's not clear it's going to happen or not.

I considered David's suggestion of moving Annie down and more to the middle, but I just had this idea in my mind of taking Annie out of the water to give the maximum appearance of distance to prevent her from seeming out of scale compared to the others.  I also thought if I was going to do that, keeping her as far to the left as possible would give more room to see the edge of the water.

Sometimes drawing is about instinct if possible, other times it's about logic.  It's always hard to figure out which to use.  You can have a feeling and even if you're not sure, it's hard to resist.
