I changed my plans for the dialog.  In my original plan, Annie was more scared knowing her mother knows.  But I decided that instead she'd probably be depressed she couldn't handle this all secretly.  I also changed the last two panels to match being depressed versus being afraid.

This is the end of chapter 40 "Escape", and the end of this little pre-superhero arc.  The next chapter is actually the start of a tournament arc.  The other six batteries arrive.  But first, we need to bring back Tabitha and deal with Annie's injuries, and what kind of punishment she'll get for all of this.
