Charlotte is clearly the most optimistic of the girls.  Lucy is the pessimist, Annie tries to be the idealist.  Tabitha is usually playing mind games, and it's hard to judge her real opinion.

If Lucy was in Charlotte's role here, she would be listing all the ways this could go wrong.  If Annie, she would try to list off solutions to avoid being caught.  If Tabitha, she'd be making up a story, or explaining how this could work in a way that actually undermined confidence that it would work.
