Okay, I thought there had to be a scene with someone being shocked that Charlotte was still alive.  Jesse's from Annie's comic story seemed like a good choice.  My thought is that Charlotte and Jesse went to school together, and that's how Annie met Jesse.

Annie is still too distracted from flashing people at the water park to realize Jesse doesn't know until it's too late.  BUT I thought Tabitha would be a fast (but unrealistic) liar.  The fake story continues on to the next page.

This is the half-way point to the chapter.  One more page here, one two-page scene, then a hot springs or something for the last two pages.  Next chapter is a superhero story.
