For Zoe to ever appear again in the story, she has to either become a villain or some kind of ally.  She just seems troubled, not evil, so an usual ally seemed more likely.

One more page or so here, then off to bring Mira back in the story (who has been turned off for almost 200 pages), then to Annie to wrap up the (12-page) chapter (which ends with page 412).

I think the next chapter will be jointly about Mira and Evilyn, and Annie trying to upgrade her suit.

What I want to do with Mira is have her without Arim for a while, just like Arim was without Mira for a while.  It'll both change Mira, and also giving Mira her own narrative might change how she appears.
