Vast Cosmos Comic (2009-2011) (Patreon)

This is the comic I almost made instead of remaking Pulse in 2010.  It was going to be a big space comic.  There's the original paces I made, 2009ish concept pictures for two of the leads, and then 2018ish sketches where I redesigned them (Lumina is the one with the HH jacket in one, Ajax is the woman in the last one).

I made the first few pages roughly, hopefully they can be understood.  She's flying her missing father's ship and the pirates fire a torpedo into the cargo bay.  She activates a probe in the cargo bay and realizes the torpedo hasn't exploded.

What would happen next is that she'd realize because of the damage she can't reach the cargo bay to remove the torpedo, but she notices a deactivated medical android and wakes it up to help her.

The lead and captain is Lumina- who isn't a cyborg, there's a virus slowing taking over her body that's making her mechanical.  Lumina is a cheapskate, and in the revision of her, maybe likes things from the past.

The medical android is named Isaac, and once he helps her, she takes him somewhere to get him fixed up.  He's programed to not hurt anyone, so he's always useless in a fight.

The third team member is Ajax, the navigator.  She has some psychic powers, she can sense where things are with her mind.  If they lose something, she can lead them right to it.  With her extra sense, she's a terrible shot.  She was kidnapped for her power as a child by the Skull pirates, and still has a big tatoo on her back like the members.

Lumina and Ajax have been on adventures back with Lumina's father, but they've both gotten older and drifted apart.

I had a lot of the series planned out.  It's possible I'll still make it someday.
