(Inuyasha)

“Are you sure this is gonna work?” Kagome asked, blushing slightly as she did so.

“To be completely honest, I’ve no idea… but it can’t hurt to try, right?” Sango responded. If anyone were to see them right now, they’d see a rather comical sight, as the duo of girls was going down the Bone-Eater’s Well with Sango in a rather… interesting position, to say the least. The usually calm demon slayer was embracing her friend tightly, determined not to let go. She was so interested in Kagome’s tales about the future, she decided to join the girl on one of her many trips to what she described as the “modern age”. Yet, it seemed like the magical well worked only when entered by the time-traveling girl herself, and so, a plan was hatched. She just wouldn’t let go of Kagome and the well would have to take them both! As she rationalized, there were no downsides to at least giving it a shot - best case scenario, both of them enjoyed some alone time in the future, while at worst, Sango would simply be left behind, which didn’t bother her in the least.

Unfortunately, it didn’t seem like their trick had worked, as Kagome saw Sango disappear while she was transported into the future. Well, it sucked that her friend was left behind, but she had other friends and family to meet, and it’s not like she could talk with Sango right now anyway…

But in reality, Sango was right here with Kagome. While the well didn’t work on humans, it seemed to have its own way of dealing with potential intruders, as the demon slayer would soon learn. From her perspective… well, there wasn’t much, as the only thing she could see was white cloth. The girl tried to call out to her friend, but was only met with silence from both of them, she couldn’t even talk! What the hell happened to her?! Was Kagome safe?

Sango tried to search for her friend, with pitiful results. Not only did this white cloth in front of her rob her of any ability to see, but the constant jiggling of her form and the weird, fleshy warmth coming from the back was getting in the way of her focusing! Thankfully, after a few minutes she was able to recognize the previously unidentified voice she kept hearing as Kagome’s. But… why was it so muffled, and why did it sound like it came from above?

The girl was kept in metaphorical darkness as well as a literal one, as the little light from behind the cloth seemed to slowly weaken, was it becoming sunset? Well, at least it seemed that way before the sound of a door opening rung out as she was once again basked in light. She and Kagome were in someone’s house! So… did it mean that the girl was safe? Was she able to reach her home from the future?

Sango would’ve sighed with relief, but without a mouth… well, it wasn’t an option. Actually, she was so focused on Kakome’s safety, she didn’t learn anything about her own situation! How come her own friend wasn’t able to see her if she seemed to follow her every move? Unless… she couldn’t see her… were-- were these mound flesh she felt this whole time what she thought they were? Thinking back, Kagome did wear that weird “modern” uniform instead of her usual shrine maiden clothes, at it was mostly white too, just as the material before her… No! That couldn’t be!

As if fate was playing with the poor hopefully-still-a-girl, her realization came mere seconds before Kagome decided to finally undress in the peace of her own room, and as she did, the pink-and-black bra she wore was met with the sight of itself through the girl’s full-body mirror.

“Huh? Is… is this mine? I’m pretty sure I was wearing a different one in the morning… weird…” Kagome contemplated as she looked at the brasserie that used to be her friend, completely unaware of the horrifying truth.
