Hey, so overnight the last release got a lot of positive attention, so that might spell a future return to this sort of content in a more refined way. Something I didnt expect, but hey, I am not complaining, I like building stuff.
Now that I´ve figured the limits of the room system and how liberal I should be with using content packs, I´ve mainly wanted to post this update for the individual room requirements, as tray importer left out some packs and aside from that, the importance of packs changes wildly in between the rooms.
Now I would still recommend having all of them, but hey, I understand that EA tends to massively overprice stuff.
Legend:
Red - these packs are considered essential to either achieve the intended function or aesthetic feel.
Yellow - considered a soft requirement. Using the asset without the pack might strip functionality that is difficult to find outside of third party CC or other official content packs.
Green - optional packs, the items from these are used simply because I liked the look and could be replaced by something else. However since the game does crap job at telling you what it deleted, you should still probably have these, as otherwise you will find conspicuously empty spaces in the rooms for no apparent reason.
Edit: Remember to place rooms with bb.moveobjects cheat enabled.
