I adore this episode! Yes, humans are weak and stupid but they always can offer something that the Doctor can't see because he lacks their perspective. I mean, look how long it took him to understand that Amy was talking about him as much as the star whale? Lol 😁 I think it's beautiful that, despite everything, the star whale would never hurt a child, even when they're literally thrown into it's mouth. Humans can literally be the absolute worst when they're panicked and terrified.
