Welcome to how we all felt. 😭 I was determined not to give Matt Smith a chance...but I hope you try! Because...ok...argh...no spoilers. But. Hm. The Doctor isn't the only reason the next few seasons are great. Ok. That's where I'll leave it! But I do hope you recognize the next companion from other projects. 😏 To talk about THIS episode and THIS Doctor: it really was fantastic, and so was he! The sadness and empathy and just...the grand nature of him...David Tennant gave such a perfect performance as the Doctor and it ALL showed in this episode! Oh! And the call-backs!! Alonso was a crew member on the Titanic Christmas episode, the song playing in the bar was the same one Tellulah was singing in the Daleks in Manhattan episodes, Sarah Jane Smith, the Adipose...all there in the end. His "reward." So perfect! Thank you!!
