Yeah...on a rewatch through of Doctor Who....there are several episodes I skip (unless I just really want to revisit a storyline to refresh my memory). Let's just say...the last time I watched these two episodes, nobody would have had a reason to recognize Andrew Garfield as Spiderman. So, yeah, I agree with your assessment BUT I can see now why a certain plot point further ahead felt like a piece was missing in my memory til just now. I'll bring it up again when it happens, but I'll bet that you'll recognize it!
