The finale of Steven Universe! While  it's not truly over, I do feel sad that we've reached this point. Happy,  of course because this show has been an absolute joy to watch, but this  marks the point where we're close to being completely done with Steven Universe forever.

This was a beautiful conclusion, and I did like how S5 took the hit for being rushed and not the conclusion itself. The episode took its time and actually finally answered the question of "What is Steven?" Is he really half "his dad" and half "his mom" as he's always feared? Turns out, he's Steven. He's been Steven since the day he was born. Pink Diamond is well and truly gone. I loved that we got real conflict and real answers in this finale, and pains were taken to make sure nobody's story was ignored. Future is a true "epilogue" season. Not to say it's boring, or anything, but it's not an "action packed plot heavy Season Six of SU" kind of exciting. It's about how everyone moves on and what happens when the adventure is over. Which I wish more epic stories would do, really!!

If you're looking for another series, Yu Yu Hakusho is pretty fun (and has some good character growth and one of the best tournament arcs I've seen in anime lol) if you haven't seen it.
