Also, the tiny bit of world building they added in was pretty cool, that Gems are being made with restrictions in the new Era 2 on home world due to a lack of resources. No wonder the Earth was so tempting for them... (and, yeah, I agree with you that Amethyst was being unthinkingly cruel, but, you know that it would have secured a real apology and a replacement tablet if anything would have actually happened, impulsiveness is just Amethyst, but shes always quick to try to make up for it...not an excuse, but at least it worked out!!)
