I'll sleep when I'm dead. Edit: I'm so happy you enjoyed this one! I had no idea when I suggested "Swiss Army Man" that you hadn't seen this one yet or I'd have 100% said you should watch it! I love how the title extends to the story and the plot - it's a Romance, it's a Comedy, it's a Kung-Fu movie, it's a Family Drama, it's Action, Sci-Fi, it's...Everything. LOL I was fortunate enough to have seen this in the theater and with a designated driver so I partook in some chemical assistance before entering the theater. It. blew. me. away. ;) I've since seen it like 20 times and I am immersed in the story every darn time! All awards it received were definitely earned!

My (more than likely completely incorrect) interpretation of why Joy wanted to kill herself had less to do with her mind being fractured by experiencing every universe at the same time, but because she was severely depressed in every universe. She could feel the depression and isolation and specifically like her mother does not love or understand her in every universe, which also explains why she went looking for her mother in everyone universe to find the one who could at least understand being able to experience everything all at once and would then want to end it all with her.
