grOw/cinema 2, Episode 3, previews 50, 51 (Patreon)

Two more frames completed. However, I had finished the art for 50 yesterday, but didn't post it until today as I've been having some computer/program issues. A few computer crashes (resulting in downtime scanning and fixing) as well as slow rendering of the backgrounds (water reflections take a toll on my 8 year old computer), delayed the completion of numerous frames. I was actually working concurrently on frames 50-54 due to the rendering issues. 

I had tried to install my 3D program onto my wife's laptop and render there, hoping to save valuable computer processing power while I work on the art. Unfortunately, the app wouldn't install, as I think her OS is too new and my 2014 program won't work with it. The latest version of the app (Shade3D) is way too expensive (they upped the price noticeable since I purchased in 2014 and they also went to a subscription model). This is not good news when I finally am able to update my computer (once Apple releases the new M1 large-sized iMacs). I started looking into a replacement, and was very happy at my initial exposure to Blender, an open-source (and, thus, FREE) app. Hopefully, it will be a good replacement for my old app.
