Tuesday was a bad day, having to make quick decisions for our cat under extreme stress. But the vet's treatment of our "fur buddy" has given him some extra time. He's doing quite well on medications right now. However, the prognosis for long-term health is not good. Cats with congestive heart failure don't have great chances — most have 3-6 months, with the chance of sudden death.

Since he was responding so well yesterday, and my wife was home to watch him, I decided to get some work done to both catch me up and get my mind off of things. However, I did take a little break in the form of not working all day, not touching "real life" work, and refraining from social media interaction.

We are making him happy and comfortable, making sure he won't suffer. We hope he's a fighter and overcomes the odds for as long as possible.
