Hey everyone!  Here I am with season 1, episode 12 of Camp Camp!!!  OMG guys, here we are at the finale!  Let the record show that I tried and failed miserably at my attempt to sing the song :P  However, I'll keep practicing!!!  This one was so fun and kinda sweet, I felt terrible for David and was so happy when everyone rallied around him!  Max ought to be ashamed of himself, and I think he was lol.  Poor David!  He even slipped and said a bad word :O  That's how you know it's serious you guys!  I love his wholesome spirit so much!  What a sweet ending - well, it would have been if it hadn't all gone up in flames, literally :P  AWESOME SEASON and I can't wait for the next one!  Great ep, enjoy!  ~ MH

Aaaaw give this man a sash with his name on it by a bonfire not started with gasoline. 😭 I felt drama coming after the attempted Platypus kiss. I felt that scene with David and Max in my ♥️ I can’t with David he’s just a gem. He’s just so sweet and deserves the world. I would have been happy with a bonfire off the bat. 🔥 This definitely puts you in a place where you just want to tell Max to just give him a break already but I’m glad he realizes the effort David tries to bring. And look, once things comes together small things like a bonfire gathering can be cooler than you think. This definitely means bigger things are coming for sure. This was really sweet finale for this show. And wow Gwen at the end! That sounded so beautiful. Also David would be proud of the enthusiasm put into the song MH. Alicia Keys who? Mariah Carey who? Um Adele who?!?! 🎤😙🎶

I know right!!! He deserves the best!!! Hahahaha the platypus kiss gave away what was next huh! OMG that scene!!!!!!!!! David is just the absolute best!!! I was mad at Max too but yeah, he definitely came around at the end. I can't wait for what's coming next!!! I loved hearing Gwen start to sing the song!!! And OMG Manny, you're too kind to me hahha!!!! Thank you for your lovely compliments on my attempt at the theme song!!!!! ^_^

First of Hello!!! Im back!!! But now to Camp Camp because I binged to catch up with Camp Camp. Fun fact the part with Dolf prechewing David's food. That is apparently a thing in Germany I've heard somewhere... Also regarding Max, he is my fave character. I love a that he is the opposite that compliments David's optimism. Sometimes Max has some good points. It's just he doesn't sugarcoat and tends to be the type to enjoy tormenting David but you have to ask why? Why is Max so against positivity and having fun at camp? Max is 10, so why is he so pessimistic about life. Not just camp alot of his outlooks seem like a real red flag for a kid his age to have. He isn't a teen, he is ten years old. What happened? And also Why is David so focused on Max as his project to fix? Why is David so focused on never being sad or angry? (We kind of get the answers this episode but there is more to uncover with David). Even having in episode 2 a clipboard that had an equation about Max + Happy = Success. (It may have said something else but that's what I recall) I love both my boys but they have a lot going on that I can't wait for you to discover in the next season beyond. Glad to see you enjoying yourself.

If you rewatch that scene between him and Max. Watch both of their expressions throughout their convo there. David actually believes exactly what Max is talking about. But he wants to prove with enough effort you can have fun even in a horrible place like this Camp. He found fun here. He wants to share it. And Max realized that when David finally told him. You are right. But I'm gonna keep trying anyway. While he starts showing how much this is hurting him. Max instantly felt remorse. He instantly shows guilt for trying to drag David down to such a low. Because secretly Max might admire David's optimism even though it can be a bit much at times.

I love episodes 11 and 12. I thought it was in an earlier episode but I like the I’m a sheep line because of the delivery by the VA. Looks like that poker game to become prime minister of Thailand went well if Cameron has diplomatic immunity. The look on Max’s face when he announces this competition is definitely a please dear God no look LOL. I think it’s fun that each camp has events specific to what their camp is about it ends up making the humor more varied. Honestly learning that Cameron has a gambling addiction explains a lot. And of course he would make a horribly ill advised bet with Pikeman where they could lose the camp. It’s kind of crazy how intense the flower scouts can be with their 1st event. I like the Terminator reference when the wood scouts do the posture event. Even if they didn’t do well overall it’s impressive that Nikki was able to get past the 1st event. I love the running joke saying the other campers can’t win every event followed by them doing exactly that. Also the wood scouts having going down a waterfall in a barrel as 1 of their events is wild. I’m glad you realized the problem with our camp not being good at working together rather quickly. It was bad enough that if they lost they would have to be under the rule of a camp that is willing to abuse its campers & is extremely harsh but then you add Pikeman being really gross towards Gwen & the stakes get higher. In other shows David’s advice to work hard, work together & believe in yourself would work and be inspirational but in this show with these characters it doesn’t. I do love the focus on the individual strengths of the campers we have got to know & their events being so unique & specific means the other camps never stood a chance. I love how it shows how awesome the campers are. I especially love Nikki being able to communicate with a wolf which is also crazy. I think individual strengths should be praised but working together is important as well unfortunately the campers did not get that lesson from this experience. Yeah you can’t help but feel bad for David getting attacked by the wolf, seeing no one caring & wondering why no one enjoys camp like he did as a kid. I like that we get a little look at what camp was like in the past with the photo David has. Don’t worry Max many of us ask why when it comes to David at some point. You did a great job singing the song especially for the 1st time you attempted it even if you were practicing. I think it’s an interesting concept for David to try to get the campers to see the fun in camp through a tradition he loved as a kid although there are unfortunate racists undertones to this tradition. I appreciate the effort to get them to be nicer and learn to love nature David but with this group of campers it was always going to end in disaster & chaos. I think Gwen’s worry is warranted in this situation. It’s crazy what the kids end up doing hoping to get a prize especially Preston somehow getting rid of all the dirt in the camp as well as the kids trying to set up situations where they can look like they are doing good deeds. Also the way Neil’s VA says you whore is perfectly hilarious. I do think it’s understandable that kids would be disappointed with pumping like a bonfire but yeah Max took it way too far. I do like the way Gwen gently leads the kids inside. It’s valid to be angry at Max for the things says to David as it starts to rain. However I do think it’s important to think about the fact that this is the way Max views the world and when you think about it that way it’s really sad that Max thinks people just don't care & the amount of good people is just going down. It possibly says something about how he grew up because this kind of thing is something you either come to naturally or its something learned. The facial expressions in this show are simple but I love the way the show represents David’s anger/frustration & sadness hearing all this stuff from Max. I love the sentiment of David always caring and trying to get others to care because if no one does then the world will probably never change as well as just wanting to see the good in people and it shows his strength/ideals. I love that this is the 1st time David has gotten serious or cursed & it was a mic drop moment for sure. It really shows how much this affected him that Max has nothing to say and I like the human moment we see with him feeling remorse for this. Yeah the dream was too idealistic honestly I love how real what actually happens is. It’s really sweet that Max convinced everyone to help him set everything back up as a way to do something nice for David. It’s great that Max is still himself even doing something like this. I love the outfits because Max is Indian himself and he was most likely the one who showed the other kids how to make these traditional Indian clothes. However I think the sweetest moment is Gwen singing the theme song & the VA has a great singing voice & so do you MH. Also this is the 1st time we see Max with a smile on his face that isn’t devious which is really heartwarming especially with the small look between him & David. But of course they had to end the season with something wild this time an explosion. Nikki wanting to see an explosion again is amazing LOL. I agree the ending song feels different after this episode especially the title Keeper of the Flame when the episode involved a bonfire & can be connected to David trying to keep hope alive. This show was never going to have a perfect ending or lesson but it had its own crazy, unique ending all its own that still managed to be really heartfelt. This finale was extremely great especially the 1st time I watched it. Awesome reaction & thoughts I love how genuine you always are. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

This is one of my favorite episodes, the scene with Max and David is so freaking good. You know you’ve messed up when *David* is swearing. Excited for next season cause it just gets even better!
