Hey everyone!  Here I am with season 1, episode 4 of Camp Camp!!! OMGGGGG Jen Brown was soooo good as Ered in this lol!  I love seeing "coolness" through kids' eyes, it's such an experience lol.  I almost felt bad for Max at the end because he was just so dedicated to his cause, not realizing the rest of the world wouldn't give a crap lol.  Meanwhile, poor David!!!!  Another fun one!  Great ep, enjoy!  ~ MH

Yeah this show can make you laugh and just as easily make you cringe. On the challenge I don’t think anyone would mind if when you try to sing the opening you have the lyrics in front of you but if you consider that cheating and you want to learn by ear I understand. I like that this episode starts out at night instead of day keeping things fresh. Also David I don’t think staying up that long is healthy LOL. I love that the kid from another camp offering to help them escape is voiced by Dante Basco as well it was amazing surprise for me I 1st watched it too. It’s really funny to me that this kid looks and sounds so serious. Also he’s not just a MGS reference but a escape from New York which inspired a little of MGS reference with the name. I love how Nikki wants to live amongst wolves. Even if it didn’t work like a real knife I have to admit trying to make a shank out of a candy cane is hard core. I like how you can already tell with how Nikki is talking once Neil wakes up that there was more to the story of being part of the flower scouts than just leaving because it was not fun. I love that for these girls Samantha Ireland is doing her best Valley girl impression it’s hilarious & I love that you can hear Nora in their voices but with enough differences from each other for the voices to be distinct. It’s funny how Max makes a meta comment about it being cloudy only over this camp. Yeah I feel bad for Max being in this situation this episode. I like how Nikki is herself no matter what activity she’s doing. I love how the show makes it clear how much of a paradise the flower scouts are to Neil because I think it makes his big moment in this episode more powerful. Nikki being able to tame a falcon like it’s nothing is awesome. I love how excited you got over the RVB Easter egg. I agree I don’t like don’t like the stereotypes the flower scouts are about either passive aggressiveness is not fun. Also Tabii’s sister was definitely messing with her with that explanation of how you get pregnant LOL. Neil’s mic drop moment is badass you just don’t expect him to use the C word but it works LMAO. Yeah I feel like Tabii’s deserved that WTF from Sasha. It’s hilarious to hear Nora’s voice cursing it makes me think that if RWBY used more cursing Nora would be doing it all the time. I love that the writers were able to do a good lesson about stereotypes in this silly, fun show. Honestly Max hating everything is a mood LOL. I don’t think I’m like Max that much but sometimes you just feel done with the world you know? If you thought this experience would make him appreciate David more I’m sorry to say it won’t. Episode 4 is a favorite of mine from season one. I love the concept of coolness like you said from a child’s perspective. I find Nikki admiring & being excited about Ered to be really cute. I like Max talking about how no one should be/is better than anyone else. I love the short conversation about nicknames because I think most people can agree that nicknames are fun. It’s unfortunate that this “revolution” happened right before they were told about the pizza & ice cream it would have been a very different episode that’s for sure. Gwen being entranced by trash TV is hilarious especially the absolutely wild things we hear from her & the show she’s watching. The animation of Preston downing soda and sweets is really funny. Space Kid saying I did this & running away is the funniest thing to me I can’t explain why LOL. Also David: no violence Gwen: all the violence. David’s aww that they aren’t there to help him is a great soundbite. Love Nikki going dog mode when fight. It’s sad to see Nikki trying so hard to impress/help Ered when she’s just being used but it’s not surprising since kids can be mean. And just when things are getting completely out of hand Cameron shows up having been caught by the authorities and somehow manages to shut everything down. Also there is some suspect items in his safe but I’m sure there’s nothing to worry about. Yeah I feel bad for Max at the end here and unfortunately Cameron isn’t really wrong with what he says. And it seems like they learn a bit of an anti-lesson at the end as well which does happen in shows like this. The song that was played in the episode & credits being really suggestive in the most ridiculous way is amazing LMAO. Oh boy you know someone has used that as a pick up line and they should just not. I like the parallel you made between Max & David when it comes to passion. Awesome reaction & thoughts. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

The talk with Campbell and Max always cracks me up. Campbell is so funny, so glad they got Travis Willingham to voice him, he’s perfect XD
