Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to season 1, episode 1 of Chainsaw Man!  WOW was this intense!!!  It was even better than I was expecting!  I LOVE Pochita and the bond between the two of them, awwwwww!!!  I also felt so heartbroken for Denji, I mean talk about life crapping on someone, the poor guy!  Hopefully things look up from here!  Technically, he's out of debt and has access to better food and shelter now I guess!!!  I can tell it's gonna be intense - can't wait for more!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

To be honest I didn't think this would ever be on the docket, but here we are. ...I don't even know where to begin, but just enjoy this madness. It's one of my favorite anime, and they put in the budget/love/effort into this adaptation. What other anime has a completely different OP for every. Single. Episode. It's just pretty nuts. ...Though if you enjoy Chainsaw Man, I do highly recommend Dorohedoro. It's certainly on the same wavelength of uniqueness. Plus it's got Knuckle/Okuyasu as the handsome, kind of wholesome Lizard-headed protagonist. ...Also let's ask this question right now while not that many devils have been revealed... Which Devil would you least like to encounter? Mine would have definitely been the Spider/ANY sort of parasite Devil if you were to ask me at chapter 1 of the manga. xD

For the record, I’m not UNhappy you’re checking this out first - it’s just that since you already have Jojo and JJK on the list, this kinda feels like the sine vein: however, it IS spooky season, so there’s that as well. “I think I’m ready for what this can offer…” “I sold my kidney, my eye and my nut.” *Utter shock Me: We did try to warn you! 😂 Yes, we knew you were gonna go nuts over Pochita, I should point out that devils come in all shapes and sizes: his just seemed more friendly. It seems like the group he was in debt to was identified as yakuza - also they sold him out because they wanted power but instead they became zombies. I think Dennis probably thought he was dreaming, but Pochita was using the medium to communicate his wishes. And yea, he’s fused with Denji’s body - it’s HIGHLY unlikely you’ll see Pochita in the same form again, since he’s basically a vital organ of Denji’s. I think perhaps the “zeal” he displayed was because it was toward people who had been personally oppressing him for years. I mean, sheesh, they left him with nothing even after a job. Kinda the same way I feel after I get all my bills taken care of, but this is slightly more extreme. Apparently his head turned into the part of a chainsaw you grip, that’s why it sounds metal. Also I think the “hug me” line was because he said he wanted to hug a girl earlier and that’s what got him to calm down. I’ve seen this series, it’s been a while though, so I forget some of the finer details, but strap yourself in, it’s gonna be a wild ride. Just FYI, the season is 12 episodes in length.

I hear you!!! I'm either gonna be totally traumatized or just totally desensitized by the end of all these shows lol! Hahahahaha I was NOT ready!! Pochita!!!!!!!!!!! Sooo cute!! Yeah I'm curious to see if there are any other cutie pie devils out there. Thanks for clearing that up about his debtors. That's too bad we won't see Pochita again, but so sweet that he's literally a part of him now. I mean yeah, I get that aggression/zeal for sure lol. Thanks for clearing that up about his head and the "hug" line. Thanks for the heads up!!! So in 5 more weeks, I'm gonna try to check out Oshi no Ko :D
