Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to the Punk Jack special!!!  It was so fun!  I loved learning more about Win's background and seeing how he came to hold the mantle of Punk Jack!  What a blast from the past to see Girori too!  The music and action in this were SO METAL!!!!  I loved it!!!  I'm so glad I got the chance to check this out, hope you enjoy it ^_^  ~ MH

So is it just me or does your channel seem to have more of a musical “theme” this week…? 🙃 I think probably the main point of this particular special was to fill in some of the information gaps in the main show regarding the inner workings and machinations of the DGP after they were revealed on the show. It also probably is a good excuse to give some of the cast who “vacate the premises” earlier more to do. Either way, it’s interesting how the whole thing is a giant manipulation once you have all the facts in front of you. Even so, the overarching reason Win decided to stay was that he didn’t want his friend’s wish to be discarded like that one particular staff member said - something along the lines of “who cares what that loser wanted?” But even that in it self turned out to be a manipulation, so it seems he was smart enough to broker a deal to keep everything involving himself on the up-and-up. I get the feeling it might be a breach of contract if they try to “control” him again. But this obviously took place several episodes ago so who’s really in charge of this whole mess? And also… we pretty much understand the logistics of what Tsumuri refers to as “the cycle of happiness.” It’s why Geats seems to collect so much animosity, even from someone like Keiwa recently… but… did anyone ever stop to ask WHY it’s designed this way? Every answer you find on this show just leads to another question… 👀

Hi Hime :) I knew the PunkJack theme was going to rock you in your chair. Win is a good fighter, that's why he was chosen to face Ace after all. But it also shows that his wish is strong, the strength of a rider is proportional to his wish after all. I'm surprised you didn't recognize that Hiroki, Win's friend, was a Dalmatian. I don't know if he was the first to be made and repainted for the series or if it's the other way around, but the dog helmet has already been seen worn by an unknown rider defeated by Michinaga in his rider's hunt. Niram wasn't that bad, after all, Punkjack's return to the show was at the same time as Niram after his and Ace's loss to Michinaga. But I don't think the Niram you see here is the one who came back after this loss, but rather the one before it fell, which would mean he's been keeping Punkjack's return a secret all this time. And then Niram acted mostly out of fear of Suel and under his orders, but didn't completely agree with it since he asked Punkjack to investigate discreetly. But yes in the general idea, even if we like this special for Punkjack, the backstage also makes this episode interesting.

Hahaha how does my stuff always end up being so thematic each week? :P Yeah I think it was a great way to fill in those gaps and also give more spotlight to other cast members. I know, the fact that Win was in this for his friend's wish the whole time....and all the high-level manipulation going on...it's crazy. They totally just used him. Omg I know, that's such a good question!! Why indeed is it designed this way?? Everything's a mystery within a mystery on this show!

Hi Spadeas! :) Hahaha I was rocking out! That's so true about the wish/strength ratio! Ohhhh I thought he kinda looked like a dalmation, but I couldn't tell if it was that or like a white cheetah/cat print! Ohhhh interesting about the dog helmet being used before. That's true, Niram wasn't all bad, good point! I know, it was great to get some details here wasn't it!!! I had a lot of fun with it!

The concept of "spark" was first introduce in this SP. And the BTS stuff of DGP's staff also first first introduce in this SP too. But the "happiness balancing rule" was already talked in the main EP.
