Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to Demon Slayer season 3, episode 6!!!  WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys, I was not ready for a tragic back story!!!!!  I'm heartbroken for Genya now......he needs to make things right!  Also, what on earth is going on with these human demons!?  How and why are they being made?!?!  Also, I have a feeling that the little mousy demon can't escape a flaming sword, but WHAT A PLACE to cut me off (no pun intended hahaha)!  Dang, lots of action and drama in this one!  What a great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

So you are just over halfway now according to the # of episodes. There’s a lot of action at the beginning, but not a whole lot of story plot to analyze - but I will say that it’s not going to ever be simple to defeat an Upper Rank, let alone two. It usually doesn’t happen without something happening to SOMEBODY. Also the demon split five ways with the hard to find main body is ranked higher than Gyokko, the vase demon is. Of course, the biggest plot point in this episode is the Genya backstory. First off, I’m not 100% convinced he’s a demon, it might be he just got done reason or another has their regeneration trait. Although he did mention he couldn’t regenerate his head. Regarding the mom, I think the implication was that she was always working to support her kids - I don’t think she became a demon until the night everything happened because that doesn’t explain the sudden reckless behavior - there are feral demons and intelligent ones like the Upper Ranks, and she definitely seemed more feral. This explains why the Wind Hashira has such a distaste for demons, of any kind, and who can blame him for feeling that way after learning what demons have done to his life? It might not excuse some of the things he did, but it makes his position a lot more relatable. Every time Genya tries to shout Tanjiro down though I can’t help but hear Bakugo now it’s almost like he’s having a different character experience with the same personality. Also, Tokito’s still in trouble and I have no idea what Mitsuri is currently doing… to risk making another pun, we’ve got way too many irons in the fire here. 😅

Eek. I mean I kind of feel bad for the upper rank with the split personality because he’s weeping but sometime he looked creepy running around. I was yelling for Genya to stomp that roach 🪳🦶

I know, I hear you!!! He seems so scared, it makes me wonder if he's not doing this of his own volition or something, but he must be right? LOL stomp that roach is the best way to put it I think!!!!!!!!! XD

Gotcha! Wow! That's the thing, I knew it would be harder! Yeah, you might be onto something there, the fact that they still haven't come right out and spelled it out could be suspicious. The head thing makes me think demon too, but we still just don't have a clear line from point A to point B, you know? Ohhhh gotcha, I didn't put that together that she wasn't a demon until that point. For some reason, I thought only Kibustuji could turn people? I'm probably wrong though. Yeah, I mean, you can't blame the Wind Hashira I suppose. Hahahaha he's totally Bakugo-ing out :P LOL you're on a roll with the puns, but I do see what you mean that we've got lots going on lol.

The mom was turned into a demon, we see her doing laundry in the sun, also she loses her intelligence and is feral when she attacks.
