Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to season 2 episode 18 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime!  Oh wow!  Not only is our crew locked and loaded - with each person having like a mini army of their own - but we also get to see LEON very up close and personal in this one, whoa!  Not to mention we meet another interesting demon lord character, and...VELDORA'S SISTER!?!?!!  Wow guys!!!  This is getting even more crazy!  Probably not a good thing that someone like Leon is putting together that a lot of this leads back to Rimuru, ugh.  Can't wait for what's next!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hey Melissa, just wanted to let you know the link on this post seems to be missing.

Thanks Tyler, I added it back in! Sometimes when I unlock them it deletes the link as a glitch lol!

Hi Hime :) About those who had an altercation with Yamza (one of Clayman's fingers), they are followers of Milim, but who act for her good without her asking for anything. Milim is not the type to rule over a territory and have an army (she doesn't really need one). But these men swore loyalty to her of their own free will, you'll learn more about it later. "The truth cannot be hidden" A phrase you should remember Clayman the manipulator. Guy Crimson is the third person in the tale about Milim. Milim, Ramiris and Guy are the first three demon lords. It gives you a small idea of the potential importance of the character. There is another element to say about him, but that will come later.

I think you are right with who Rimiru wants to believe their story about what happened to Falmouth 's army. I think it's a lie only for the other nations, The Church, and Clayman. Guy and Leon knowing or speculating about the truth shouldn't really matter to Rimiru. Even if they find out the truth Idoubt they would be letting the rest of the world know about it.

This is definitely a “setup” episode. We’re moving pieces around, and introducing new ones. Heck, the main cast was gone before the opening theme this week. Clayman is reacting exactly the way Rimuru predicted so far, right down to the thought process. Usually it’s the bad guys pulling the strings so it’s a little funny to see the protagonists being the “sneaky” ones for once, but I’m down. We got confirmation that Milim is being controlled by Clayman. Also is it safe to say he’s slightly… unhinged? Interesting info drop about her “self-defense circuit.” Frey is hard to read, it seems she’s working with Clayman - but she’s not exactly thrilled about it. How much of this is her under duress and how much of it is her own free will? She seems to believe Clayman’s going to meet a nasty fate at Walpurgis as well, so… she’s holding more cards up her sleeve than she’s revealing at the moment. Right now, she’s an enigma, can’t tell who’s side she’s really on. Rimuru better break that necklace soon though. Milim IS a little too trusting, though, so that’s how we got into this mess in the first place. It seems that Guy is one of the strongest and most powerful Demon Lords along with Milim. Also, it seems he gets a kick out of getting up in Leon’s grill. It was mentioned Leon he had a one in a million chance of killing him, and we know Leon isn’t a slouch. Both Clayman and Leon seem to have gotten information from a merchant/peddler regarding Veldora. Which, by the way - this is the worst kept secret in the history of poorly kept secrets, because it seems everyone knows about it. I think you are probably right about being our merchant because it’s the false info. So they think they’re getting the real scoop, but they’re getting the story Rimuru WANTS to be put out. So he’s probably playing double agent and really working for the JTF. Most of this does seem to be going Rimuru’s way, but Leon’s hitting a lot closer to the mark than he realizes with his theorizing. Also Velzadd was referred to as Guy’s “partner.” I wonder if she’s adopting a human form similar to what Veldora has. They’re also surprised he hasn’t gone on a rampage like usual, apparently that’s all he used to do, hence the Evil Dragon moniker. Rimuru just seems to have controlled the chaos. He’s probably currently reading spoilers for what happens next, whatever that is. Good thing he’s not in the comment section, he definitely couldn’t keep a secret! 🤭 So Rimuru’s applications in Engrassia with the kids unwittingly interfered with Leon’s plan to summon a specific individual, who we still don’t know the identity of. But he’s willing to do anything to achieve his goal. It’s also mentioned that if Leon’s theory about Rimuru storing Veldora is correct, he would be as strong as both Guy, Velzadd, and Milim. I mean Rimuru’s OP, we already knew THAT. It sounds like most of the Demon Lords are really just kind of bored and waiting for something interesting to happen. Well, considering the way trouble likes to follow Rimuru around, I get the distinct feeling they won’t be disappointed. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see! 🤭

Wow Leon’s deducing skill is amazing. His theory lined up perfectly. And Veldoras sister! Wow I want to see then meet. 😯

kamenriderhime

Oh I'm glad I got that right! Yeah, they won't tell the world, but what will they do with that info...that's what worries me!

kamenriderhime

Hi Spadeas! :) Oh thanks for clarifying! Yeah that makes more sense, she doesn't seem super into ruling! Hmmmm interesting phrase!!! Ohhhhh that's who Guy is! Yes seems like he's be very important then...can't wait to know more!

kamenriderhime

Yeah seeing Rimuru pulling the strings and being a few steps ahead is unusual for a protagonist, but also really satisfying! Yes I'd forgotten they straight up said Milim was under control. And Frey is hard to read, you're right! Yeah Guy is super strong for sure, and definitely gets a kick out of messing with Leon! OHHHHHH that makes so much sense about our merchant giving false info!! Phew!! Oh good question about the human form for Veldora's sister. Leon's putting a lot together for sure! HAHAHHA Rimuru better not come around with those spoilers in the comments!!!!!! That's so interesting about the experiment and Rimuru's actions with the kids, I can't wait to know more. Yeah, we knew Rimuru was OP but this definitely confirms and gives us a nice measuring stick! Hahah yeah the Demon Lords have a lot of free time on their hands apparently. Good thing for them that trouble follows Rimuru around!!!! Can't wait for more!

Hi! This is my third posting of this comment. This is almost becoming routine. At least I took the precaution of copying it first. Sigh. Well, anyway....Every time someone in the show mentions a merchant, everyone always thinks of Mjollmile. He isn't the only merchant in the world. This one is probably some random merchant who happened to hear the rumors and is unwittingly passing on the false info. But as to the merchant Leon mentions, he explicitly says that he's a merchant from the Empire. Mjollmile isn't from the Empire, he's from Blumund or Engrassia.... When Guy says, if that's what happened to Veldora (re: Leon's Theory), he means that his Skill has to be an Ultimate Skill. These Skills are more deeply rooted, more attuned to the personality and willpower of the holder, and represent a deeper level of understanding and manipulating the reality of the world that Unique Skills. Guy and Leon know that if Rimuru had put Veldora "seal and all" into his "hyperspace" (the Stomach of Skill Predator) and subsequently was able to unlock the prison that the Hero made using her Ultimate Skill Unlimited Imprisonment (described as a space with an "imaginary number of dimensions"), they knew Rimuru necessarily had to have an Ult. Skill too. Ultimate Skills are kind of a secret, not everyone even knows they exist. (Rimuru doesn't know that.) So Guy and Leon put Rimuru on a different plane in the Skill hierarchy. It's kind of an exclusive little club separate from Demon Lords where all the members aren't known.

I'm so sorry for all the hassle with posting! I don't know why Patreon deletes comments so much, it's totally random too. That's true, he's not the only merchant!! And the Empire thing rules it out too, whoops. Ohhhhh interesting about the ultimate skills!!! Didn't realize it was considered that secretive / exclusive, but it makes sense!
