Hey everyone!!  Here it is - my reaction to the first 3 eps of RWBY ICE QUEENDOM!!!!  I really enjoyed it you guys!!!  They added some stuff, skipped some stuff, put their own spin on it, and introduced a freaky new concept that was downright intriguing to watch!!!!  It was so nice to see these familiar faces but in a new style, and also the VAs did a great job!  I'm having a blast with it so far and can't wait to see more!  This Grimm is pretty darn frightening!!!  Great eps!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Sidebar, I think in RWBY Prime Penny was able to detect Blake was a faunus because of her heat sensors she used in her first fight with Cinder at Amity....she could see their heat signature behind the bow.

2023-01-15 20:31:06 I’m making this additional comment while re-watching your reaction just to say some things I forgot to say or meant to say. It was interesting to hear you talk about dub vs sub. I hope that for some anime you react to in the future you do it in dub. I completely respect & think it’s valid to prefer anime in English or Japanese. Personally though I think people especially reactors should mix it up sometimes for different experiences particularly for anime that have good dubs. The ones that come to mind with good dubs are Fruits Basket, Code Geass, Tengen Toppa Gurren Laggan & Fairy Tail. Obviously do what’s most comfortable for you and if a majority of people want one language more that’s what should probably happen when you are going to start a new anime at some point. Although for the most part I do agree Japanese is better there are standout dubs. I don’t think I am but I hope this doesn’t come across as pushy I just think there are some anime better for reactions in English. Moving on the fact that this show made you speechless says a lot about how great it is. I really love to see how much joy you got watching this it’s so enjoyable. Honestly once again I have to say it can’t be understated how beautiful the designs are. Also because we are about to jump into a nightmare for most if not all of the rest of the season since I’m sure there will be more I don’t know if we will get to see Neo at least in the 1st season which will be a shame. Mostly because they could make her even more animated & expressive than she already is in the main show. Also I already said that you can clearly see how much heart the people making the show are putting into it and that they love the show but I think I agree with someone I was watching that they particularly love Pyrrha with how they animate her. Your best reactions were to the Ruby vs Roman & the goons, Blake choosing Yang as a partner especially making the heart with your hands, Penny appearing & the music. Although the best part of the reaction was how it was mostly hype & squeeing from you I totally relate though. However you did have great discussion. Another case for reacting to at least some dub content, a lot of us are huge fans of certain English VAs and it would be great if you could learn to appreciate some of their performances, what their voices sound like, etc. One example I can think of you might enjoy (if you like RomComs), the dub for Kaguya-Sama: Love is War is definitely the way you want to watch that show, if nothing else for the narrator, Ian Sinclair, who is hilarious! The male lead, Miyuki Shirogane, is voiced by Aaron Dismuke, whom you already know as the voice of Oscar Pine (RWBY)...while the female lead is voiced by Alexis Tipton, who does an excellent job playing a rich, out of touch tsundere (the titular character Kaguya Shinomiya)...this is a show with an utterly absurd premise that is played completely seriously....and at least in the beginning the characters are kind of @ssholes and it's funny to see them hoisted on their own petards over and over. The self-sabotage is just so hysterically funny... RWBY has done a good job adding more and more anime voice actors to its cast, so you'd probably be surprised how many voices you already know just from RWBY.

That's a good point!!! I've seen Kaguya but I'm sure it would be a different experience in dub. So cool that RWBY is getting more anime VAs too, I'm sure there would be some overlap!

I’m glad John brought that up because it’s a great point. There are some English voice actors I am very fond that I would love for you to see in action. You should fact check me on this but I believe it would interest you since I believe you are a fan. I think Ai Hayasaka from Kaguya in English is voiced by AmaLee who does a lot of anime song covers including RWBY and original songs. It’s nice that you respond to feedback a lot and have a nice day. :-) &lt;3
