Hey everyone! Here’s my reaction and review of episode 23 of Parasyte!  Oooohhh I had a feeling things might go this way! Shinichi is all ready to accept his fate, when who else shows up but you know who...!!!! Interesting point they made about humans, other life on the planet, etc. And all of Migi’s development was building up to this-him not being able to destroy one of his own kind! Leaving Shinichi to either not pass judgment or protect his own kind. Not sure how we will wrap things up now, this felt like such a solid wrap up! guess maybe we will have an epilogue next? Guess we will find out!  Enjoy! ~ MH

He didn't do it out of anger. It's not ones decision to end a life, yet theirs had to come to an end, just as a human hoping to protect his kind. Who knows, the parasyte could have come back in a new life with a new goal but that chance was understandably not taken. Sad to think about. They are lives. But thats all Shinishi can do, is try and protect his own in that moment. With no malice, but empathy. I applaud him and MIGI!!

Right! It is sad to think both species are just trying to protect their own...great point that Gotou could have made different choices though, but in the end Shinichi was sort of pushed into a corner when it came to protecting his own. And so true that it was done with no malice and with lots of compassion, perspective and understanding!!!
