Hey everyone!!!  Here it is, ep 8 of season 2 of The Mandalorian!!!  Oh my goooooooooooooosssshh!!!!  What do I even say about this episode?!  I loved our team up with Bo and Sasha lol, and we opened up some really interesting questions/possibilities with what's coming with the Dark Saber!!!  And of course, the highlight of the ep was.....!!!!!!!!!!!!  I had a feeling when I saw the lightsaber but was honestly not sure who else might have a similar one.  As soon as I saw the hand though!!!  Just seeing him as I remember from the first time I saw Return of the Jedi as a kid did something to my heart...!!!
I'm really sad that Mando and Grogu had to part ways, but I have a feeling this isn't the lsat time they'll be together.  And if anyone had to be the one to take him, I suppose this is the best option!  Also, that end credits scene!!!!!!!!!!!!  Long live the new king of Jabba's Palace haha!!!!  Such a great finale and season overall!  Thanks for joining me!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

The landing of the shuttle remindet me of one of the Old Republic trailers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UD0yY4Grc_A They did not explain it, but in the games, the armor of the Dark Troopers where a mix of beskar alloy. Thats why they are so though, and blasters cant really do anything about them. But thats also the reason why a Lightsaber cuts throu it, because its not pure Beskar. Mando already said, I yield. But that doesnt count without a fight. In Clone Wars and Rebels you will fight out more of the history. Now two Skywalkers had a hallway scene. I am happy that it was Luke that came, as i wished 2 episodes ago. But i kinda wished it was someone else. But it was so good. Well Grogu survived one temple burning down, he can survie the next one. So "The Book of Boba Fett" is comming december 2021, wich means it could be Season 3, because they said there will be one. Or...it could be a second show, running at the same time. I think the next season for Mandalorian will be focused on the Dark Saber, and unification of the Mandalorians. Wich...well will be difficult, because as we saw in this series, there are different belives what it means to be a Mandalorian. Ahsokas Lightsaber where white in this show.

Feels to me that in bringing back Luke, they absolutely had to bring us the CG version because the old nerds NEEDED to see the original Luke at peak power, since we never got to experience that (beyond the old Expanded Universe (which Disney took away from us.)). Live action Luke (the Luke we remember) kicking ass Master Jedi-style was needed to help mitigate what the final trilogy did to his character. But, now that we got to see Luke finally elevated to Bad Ass, I'm totally OK if they recast the character for future Grogu related episodes.

Well, also SW timeline-wise it had to be this way. The sequels take place about 30 years after ROTJ. The Mandalorian is about 3 or 4 years after ROTJ, about 25 years before Force Awakens. I'm not even sure Rey or Kylo Ren / Ben are even born yet at this point.

Ahhhh okay, thanks for clearing that up about the game!!! Interesting! Can't wait to know more of the dark saber history! Ahhh yes, you called it with Luke!!!!!! There you go, Grogu will be okay! Hmm, never thought of that that Book of Boba Fett might be season 3! I assumed it was another show! Hmm, interesting thoughts on the Mandalorian focus. Very true that different folks have different ideas on what it means to be Mandalorian. It should be interesting! Ah yes, thanks about the lightsabers, think I got confused because I am also watching season 2 of Clone Wars :P Thanks!

"I don't know what I'm crying over more.... Grogu or Luke showing up." I was right there with you. I have no idea. And it shows how good the show is. To have a moment rival that of the return of Luke (Not the sequel Luke, but PRIME Luke). It's a miracle at how good this show is. Deep down though I cried over Grogu more. That stare moment was incredible. And Luke saying "He wants your permission". Had me balling. Great reaction!

Your reaction tears always get me crying too. I guess I didn't need much of a push over the edge with this episode. I hear a lot of people were tearing up.On another note Mando's, willingness to let Grogu, go is a sign of his love. I think someone who truly loves you would always want the best for you, even if it means letting you go:)

Awww thanks!!! Yeah I can imagine lots of folks were very emotional about this one! And so true - Mando was totally unselfish in his actions!! So beautiful!!! :'D I hope this isn't the last time they see each other!!
