Hey everyone!!!  Here it is, ep 5 of season 2 of The Mandalorian!!!  OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Here it is, the moment we've been waiting for!  I wanna go on the record as saying I LOVE everything about this portrayal of Ahsoka!!!  Rosario Dawson is so cool and I think she absolutely nailed it here!  I was heartbroken for her during the scenes where she was clearly talking about Anakin (that argument about to train vs. not to train was awfully familiar, wasn't it?!)!
And oh wow, Baby Yoda is not Baby Yoda at all!!!!  He has his own full backstory dating back to the Clone Wars era!!!  Shoot!!!!!  He's been trained a little and everything...but clearly not enough, due to the whole macaron incident haha.  As much as I wanna see Grogu get what he needs, I was so glad he and Mando stayed together at the end!!!!!!!!!  What an awesome ep, I can't wait to see what happens next!!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Well now you have seen Ahsoka when shes around 45, alot happend in her live. We can see, and hear it, especially as she talked about that one Jedi Knight she knew. The Bird you noticed, you will know about it sometimes in the future. The Droids are Assassin Droids from the "HK" series. One of the most beloved droids from the old games is HK-47. So having the HK series canonized is great for fans of the Knight of the Old republic series. While the Mando has a western theme to it, Ahsoka has more a old Samurai movie theme to it. Her clothing, her curved lightsaber handles. Both are warriors that follow a code/creed. When he said Grogu was on the ship, the entire time i had fear someone shows up and grabs him. Because the tracker is still there. Tython is a very important planet, maybe we will hear about it more in next episodes so i wont say more. And saying that a Jedi might come looking for him, sets up that that ANY alive Jedi might show up. Luke is still alive :D A few others, they might take one Jedi from the expanded universe. I heard rumors about a Ahsoka series, so i thought that was the episode where Din an Grogu splitt up, and Ahsoka and him travel together. Ahsoka has a mission, thats whay she asked for Grand Admiral Thrawn. Watch Clone Wars and Rebels to know more about that. :D

Oh wow! I can’t wait to get answers to some of the things they hinted at, as well as see more Clone Wars to learn more! I would have been sad if they split up but an Ahsoka show would be pretty sweet! Omg you’re right about Luke, never even thought of that!!! So excited for more!

I think that it's easy for us to assume because of his toddler like appearance, that Grogu, is actually a toddler. That fact that he was trained decades ago & clearly understands galactic basic language, suggests that he can probably speak it too ,but may just be choosing not to. A phenomenon which occurs in our own world, is that people often attribute a lesser intelligence or wisdom to those who either don't speak the language or speak a broken version of the language. Though, such persons may be geniuses or very accomplished in their native culture. These are my own speculations of course, but it could be that Grogu, pretends to be younger than he is as a survival mechanism; just as he nerfs his own force skills in order to protect himself. He may be a child relative to the long life of his species, but he definitely knows what is going on around him beyond the capacity of a toddler:)

Yeah, most people forget that in the pilot episode, the original Imperial client said that the "bounty" was at least 50 years old. That's why Mando was thinking he was going after an adult. He only found out at the end. However, this species probably lives well over 1000 years, because in "Empire Strikes Back" Yoda says he had been training Jedi for over 800 years.

I've seen over 90 reactions to this episode, and nearly all of them rave about it. They also loved how Rosario played Ashoka. Only a few remarked how short her lekku was, since I guess it is supposed to grow longer as that species ages. I remember reading that they tried one that was longer, but it kept getting in the way, so they went with the shorter one. Doesn't really matter to me. Also, one or two had some complaints about the voice and still wanted Ashley to voice her. I told them that Ashoka is no longer seemingly a teenage girl as she was portrayed in The Clone Wars and Rebels. She should be more mature now, since it is at least 25 years since the Clone Wars. Around 20 years between Episode 3 when Luke is born and 4 when we first see Luke as around 19 or 20. Then add in another 5 years or so between Episode 4 and 6. Then a few years later to the current Mandalorian. To me, for Ashoka to still have what I call a "teenage girl" voice wouldn't sound right. Now, if they had another series set earlier in the SW timeline, I could even see Ashley playing a live-action Ashoka then. However, I like Rosario as a 'middle-aged' Ashoka.

I agree!!! As cool as it would be to see Ashley in the role, you do have to consider the timeline here. I don't think I've ever seen Ashley in a live action role either, which is something else to consider (not saying she couldn't do it, just that Rosario has tons of on-screen experience, some of it in action genres too). Although her voice is deeper, I thought she did a great job capturing the inflections, speech, etc.!!!!
