Here it is, episode 8 of season 2 of The Boys!  I just knew it would all hit the fan in this ep, and it did!  Oh my Lord, Butcher sent me on an emotional rollercoaster in this ep!  I was really happy that he made the right choices in the end....even when the unthinkable happened...!!!  In any other show, that would be the cool hero moment where the boy saves his mom, wins over Butcher despite his feelings about supes, etc.  Not on this show!!!  Until Homelander showed up, I really feared the worst from Butcher!  Stormfront met a stormy end, too, and I can't say I shed any tears!  Oh yeah, and GIRLS GET IT DONE!!!!!!!!!!!  XD XD XD
Our boys are free, Annie is back in the Seven, Homelander's been neutralized (for now), and......we know who our assassin is....!!!!  Did NOT see that one coming!!  And now Hughie is working with her, doing things the "right" way!!!  It just never ends!  Surprisingly, nearly everyone got kind of a happy ending here (for now).  What a great ep and great season!

Gustavo Fring, Stan Edgar, Moff Gideon. Need a complex villain? Call Giancarlo Esposito! He is one of the biggest reasons I am excited for the second season of The Mandalorian. Neuman working with Vought makes perfect sense when you think about it, that way they control both sides of the conversation when it comes to compound v and superheroes. I'm not sure if you have already seen it but I would highly recommend The Umbrella Academy if you wanted to watch another superhero show sometime in the future. It also deals with some complex themes but isn't quite so graphic haha.

She was the one who popped his head. In the comic she is actually a male character with that ability. I saw an interview they did with the cast and they said they were jokingly calling stormfront "Stumpfront" after the last episode. Funny enough the scene with homelander.... pleasuring himself was in the comic and they wanted to put it in the first season but it got vetoed... i guess since it was so popular they got to throw that in there.

For real!!!! I love that actor!! And now we get to see him on The Mandalorian as well! Ohhh okay, I don't know if I had put it together that Neuman was actually working with Vought! I thought she had her own agenda, but that makes so much sense, like you said. Vought gets to control both sides of the argument now. I actually have seen The Umbrella Academy and I love it!!! I agree that it has a great blend of drama but not the same shock/gore level haha! Thanks :D

Oh wow, okay! HAHAHA Stumpfront, omg!!!!!!!!! I love it! You know what, I heard after the fact that the scene with Homelander....umm....entertaining himself....was actually shot for season 1 and I couldn't believe it! It fits so well with the ending here!!!

As far as Neuman being the head exploder you know about as much as all of us. I have watched both seasons in the last week and you are an outstanding reactor. As far as "The Boys" is concerned I believe I've read where they are filming the next season right now, in early 2021 and it is planned to show it in early 2022. Thanks for your entertaining reactions and I will be taking a look at some of your other work.
