EDIT: I'm seeing recurring mentions here about Tower of God, God of High School, and Fire Force!  Unfortunately I can't add them to the poll because Patreon won't let me, but be sure to comment if those are your choices, as they seem to be getting some buzz here already in the comments :D  Thank you!!!


(*NOTE: I'll be going in to answer all the awesome comments I'm getting on AoT very soon!  Just wanted to post this poll asap!!)

Hey everyone!  It's that time again!  So hard to believe, but after this week I will be finished filming Attack on Titan until the new season airs!  :'D  It's been an amazing journey and I am feeling so bittersweet about being caught up!!!  But that means it's time for me to decide on a new anime to watch, so I was wondering if I could have your help!

This anime will be part of my "Current Anime" category, which means I'll be releasing one reaction per week (because most likely, the show will be still airing or just finished airing since we don't have a ton of currently airing shows right now).  The criteria is that the show must have started in 2019 or 2020, and that's about it - I'm pretty open to suggestions otherwise!

SOME NOTES ON WHAT I'VE ALREADY SEEN!  I have watched (and thoroughly enjoyed) Kaguya Sama seasons 1 and 2!!! I also saw the entire season of In: Spectre and I saw the first few eps of Darwin's Game.  You guys know the other more recent stuff I've reacted to, such as Promised Neverland, Demon Slayer, etc. 

You'll notice I added one to the list this time, since I just noticed the second season is now airing - Re: Zero!  I watched the first season a while back and LOVED it.  I would be totally open to reacting to the second season as I'm dying to see it!  It's been a while since I saw the first season, so I'll rewatch the last few eps to refresh myself.  I would leave it to you whether or not you want to watch me do that!  (I'm open to that as well!)

I personally want to recommend SAO since the new season just aired but it’s a long long journey even longer than AoT if you want to catch up to the latest LOL so I don’t know . Just my opinion tho

Dr. Stone is very interesting. It is a nice twist on the shonen genre and has some really nice feel good moments

Lol! I looked up the episode list and it is quite long haha, but I absolutely loved the first season. I might keep that one in mind as one of my "older anime" for the future, maybe I could get all caught up on the other seasons one day and get current with it!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely! Feel free to recommend it for this poll too; I don't keep up on all the current anime as much as most anime fans since I'm constantly trying to avoid spoilers haha. So please feel free to share any that I might not be aware of!!!! ^_^

I haven't seen anything on this list except for Stone, so I'll say Vinland Saga cause I've heard nothing but good things. On a scale of 10 how would you rate Re: Zero? Now I'm interested. 👂

Nice!! I've heard great things about both! Oh man, Re: Zero is easily up there as like a 9 in my book! It has suspense, drama, feels, etc. Definitely would recommend!!!

Vinland Saga is great to watch after AOT, the WIT studio art style is there and the series itself is pretty good. :)

did you watched re zero season 1 ?? if yes then season 2 is a must watch :D otherwise i havent watch any other mentioned.. :/ edit: i see you watched season 1 but.. did you watch two ovas ?? Both are very good and deserve to be Seen :)

I'd like to throw Fire Force into the mix. The Animation and sound design is off the charts and there are a lot of characters I'm sure you would be invested in. Has a lot of the same themes as demon Slayer, a family wrapped up in a mystery of normal people being turned into horrific creatures. The second season just started and I think David Production has taken this anime up to high A tier or even S tier.

Rizal, they shouldn't watch the trailer, for the same reason they shouldn't have watched the trailers for season 2 and season 3 when they were watching the series. The trailers have spoilers, and they do blind reactions :P

an older anime, maybe for later, but Haikyuu!! it's one of the best animes in the history of anime. the writing and plot is beautiful and the characters all have incredible depth and meaning to them.. pls consider! 💞

Tower of God - It is phenomenal and has a great soundtrack by Kevin Penkin (he also wrote the music for Rising of the Shield Hero). God of High School - This show just started a couple of weeks ago and so far it’s awesome! I’m loving the art style/animation, and the fight choreography is excellent. The studio behind God of High School (MAPPA) is releasing season 4 of AoT. These are my two recommendations.

Ahhh yes!!! So technically Haikyuu is right behind Mob Psycho from the last poll I did....so I'm 99% sure I will be watching it when I catch up with Mob! I will most likely hold a poll when that time comes just to be sure that's what everyone wants. But considering all the great things I hear about it I have a feeling it will win! And personally, I'm dying to see it so I hope it wins!!!!!!!! XD Thanks!

If Vinland Saga wasn't on the poll I would definitely be voting for either Tower of God or Fire Force. Tower of God because it's very interesting, the art style is cool and it's very unique from a lot of other anime because it's not based on Japanese manga but the Korean equivalent Manwah. And Fire Force because the concept is interesting and creative, the animation is gorgeous and while I loved the characters in Tower of God I really love the characters of Fire Force even more. So even if 1 of them doesn't win this time hopefully they will at some point because I think you would love them.

Maybe for the next poll you can consider putting the 2019 version of Fruits Basket on it? It's a very heartfelt slice of life story about kids in high school was with a twist that you should discover yourself. And I cannot say anything else without spoiling it for you. Also I really love the English version so please consider watching that version. I love your reactions and I'm looking forward to what you watch next. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

Tower of God and God of Highschool are both phenomenal - but there isn't a lot to watch with either of them yet, so I would actually recommend leaving them for now and checking out Fire Force. It is really high quality, and the story and characters are really good. First season was great, and the second season is going right now and is really phenomenal.

I hope you're able to watch Dr. Stone sometime, it's one of my favorite Animes that has come out in recent years. Not to mention it's getting season 2! ;D

I came really close to putting it on this poll because I'm dying to see it!!!! I hadn't heard anyone recommend it which is the only reason why I didn't. Got it! I'll be doing 1 ep a week no matter what, so it wouldn't be a bad thing that there's not a lot of episodes out! But Fire Force sounds great - if it doesn't win this poll, I think you'll definitely be seeing it in future ones!!! Thanks!
