Hey everyone!  Here's my reaction to season 1, episode 3!  Poor Mob, I had a feeling that getting into shape with the Body Improvement Club might not be so easy!  I was so very amused by the cult name, LOL!  It makes sense that Mob wouldn't be so easily converted, and whoa, I was NOT expecting him to hit 100% in this ep!  So that's what it looks like when he explodes...!!!!  It was such an awesome looking effect!  I can't wait to know more about Mob's powers, and I love him as a character so far!  Great ep, enjoy!  ~ MH

Aww yeah, this was the first of so many awesome episodes of this show, and also the episode where it stopped feeling like a carbon copy of One Punchy Boi and started coming into it's own. And remember, that was all hand drawn 😉 So there's a couple of competing hypotheses on why Mob acts the way he does. I'll wait until next week's episodes drop to discuss the second hypothesis, but as for the first one: A lot of Mob's personality and characteristics suggest that he may in fact be on the autism spectrum: His difficulty in handling emotions and relating to people, other people's accusations that he has no emotions and needs to "get a clue," his own admission that he has a hard time reading social cues... A lot about Mob resonates with the Autism community, and makes him a lot more special to a lot of people. 💙

Not being able to exercise emotions is horrible. This is why ppl have meltdowns. They don't exorcise/exercise feelings and blow at any given moment if pushed too hard into a corner. In Mob's case, he hasn't been able to for the sake of others. It's saddening.

Yes!!! I agree that it really starts down its own path pretty quickly. So crazy that it's all hand drawn!!! Since I filmed these a little ahead, you won't hear me talk about how they're hand drawn for a while, but trust me, I will be mentioning my awe about it soon haha! I never even thought of it that Mob might be on the autism spectrum, but that makes sense and it's wonderful that his character resonates with the autism community!!! I love that he's such an interesting, layered character and not your typical shonen protagonist! He really is climbing those charts for Best Boi!!!! Thanks for the info!

So true!!! I see what you did there with exorcise/exercise too! XD Poor Mob, he's been holding all of that in so as not to become dangerous with his powers.....it must be awful! >.<
