Hey everyone!  Here's my reaction to season 1, episode 2!  Lots of great stuff is happening in this episode - the Telepathy Club, schoolgirl Mob (and Reigen), and....Mob joins the Body Improvement Club?!?!  LOL, we were all that age once, I suppose!  I personally like the idea of the Telepathy Club the best haha.  Really having fun with this show so far!  Great ep, enjoy!  ~ MH

Man, once you see this episode once, it's so obvious how the entirety of it is just building toward that joke at the end. Showing Mob's insecurities and listlessness about life, and framing it through the idea of "spending your time doing something you enjoy will propel you into adult life!" or something like that. But obviously, if Mob wants to impress a girl who likes active guys, sitting around being lazy isn't going to be how he gets it done. Even if the Telepathy Club was legit, he still wouldn't really have a reason to join, since his telepathic abilities aren't what he wants to improve about himself. So, it's one of those jokes that feels really obvious in hindsight, which is of course why it works so well. Man, I love this show. Quite a bit more than One Punch Man, if I'm honest.

Love, love, love this episode. Wanting to better yourself, trying to find the trials to get you to where you want to be. And Reigan's hairy legs. XD

Body Improvement! Fight on!! Lol the Body Improvement club is the best, they are some real bros. I knew if I could go back and do middle school all over again, I'd probably devote more of my time into something like Body Improvement. Also, I feel now would be a good time to mention that this show isn't using CGI-based animation; all those awesome action sequences you're seeing are hand drawn. Just a little fun fact to keep in mind for future episodes!

Oh that's awesome, I didn't see it coming at all lol. That's so true, his goals aren't aligned with anything about the Telepathy Club at all....so clever that it's built up so carefully in the ep!! When I'm editing this one, I'm sure it will hit me like a ton of bricks! This show is SO much fun, I'm really loving it!!!!!!

LOL!! I was never into it at school age either, but I guess there's something to be said for some good physical activity!! I actually like the characters of the club, they're not exactly the typical mean-jock character you usually see on tv. WOW!!!! They were hand-drawn?!?! That's insane!!!!!!!! I thought they looked different!!!!!! Thanks for the info!

While Reigen is a fraud, he takes his job serious. Just like in the OP, characters ask Mob. What do you want? Why do you want it? I am sure you are going to like the Body Improvement club, they are really nice.

Very true!! He's incredibly studious about the way he cons people lol! Ah yes, I noticed that's a running theme throughout the show! And I really like the Body Improvement Club so far!!! They're decent guys, and the bald one reminds me of Saitama haha!

i love how sometimes this show can be kinda creepy.. :D second season will bring it to another level :3 its so good.. im planing to upgrade my membership to 10$ next month to catch things up.. so i hope you will start second season too :o
