ANGER WARNING: I get pretty angry at the end of this ep guys, excuse my rage please :)

Hey everyone!  Here's my reaction to episode 8!   OMG everything happened in this ep!!!!!!
Sister Krone thought she'd get the upper hand, but "grandma" knew the details all along.
I can't believe that death scene actually got me pretty emotional!!!  But the end of the ep is what had my heart racing and head pounding.....I HAVE NO WORDS FOR THE RAGE I FELT WHEN EMMA'S LEG GOT BROKEN!  >:(  And now Norman is being shipped out?!  This "mom" needs to GO!!!!!!!!  Everything fell apart, what the heck!?!?!!?  Can't wait to see what happens next!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

This was in my opinion one of the best reaction you have ever done, seriously this was great to watch!!! I cannot wait for next week, SO HYPED!!

kamenriderhime

YAY!!!!! I'm so glad to hear that!!!!!!!! I got sooooooooo angry at the end, I couldn't help it but I got worried afterwards that it might have been too far lol. YAY!!!!!!!!! Thanks for this awesome comment and hope you love next week's reactions!!!!!!!! ^_^

this episode really broke you aha...... just like Emma's leg. I'm sorry, I had to lol the plan really did go south fast, first Krone is eliminated (btw I'm not sure how to say it either, one as in "own" sounds more natural I guess), then we find out Mom knows about Ray being a traitor, as well as Don and Gilda, and Emma is immobilised, and Norman is being shipped next, completely throwing off their schedule... It really goes to show how intelligent Mom is, but it makes sense. We know the kids are abnormally intelligent, except the Moms are just those kids grown up, so of course they're going to be even smarter. I agree with the other commenter, this was the best reaction at least for this series so far, I didn't expect you to care when Krone died and get so angry when the cr-ack happened. that was such a good moment. I've been saying this for a while, but each episode pretty much gets better and better... looking forward to the next one

kamenriderhime

HAHAHAHAHA omg that was way too good not to say!!!!!!!!! XD Yeah, Mom really showed she was not one step ahead but a whole bunch of steps ahead here. I agree that while our kids are highly intelligent, we know now that moms are those highly intelligent kids who have just been honing their skills for over a decade longer, so it makes total sense that she'd be as skilled as she is. Lol yeah I was surprised that I cared about Krone, I think they did a good job of giving me just enough background on her and making that death scene so powerful that it just got me in the feels! Oh man, you're so right that the eps just get better and better! Thanks so much and hope you love my future reactions!!!!!!!

Oh my god just finished watching the episode and I'm literally sick to my stomach. That was truly awful but brilliantly done. I might have to watch ahead as I don't know if I can wait til next week! I think all hope is lost now, in my eyes anyway. I really don't know how they're getting out of this situation now. They no longer have Sister Krone to use, they can no longer use Ray for inside information, Norman's shipment date is set and Mom, no she doesn't deserve that name, Isabella, knows EVERYTHING. Also I legit thought Isabella broke Emma's neck so was sort of relived that it was just his leg but as I'm typing this right now I'm just thinking how can she escape now that she can't run? Surely it won't heal before Norman is shipped out? This series has been hard to watch at times but incredible nonetheless. I'm really excited (and also petrified) as to how this concludes. There's 12 episodes right? By the way your reaction was amazing I was pulling the exact same face alongside you during THAT scene 🤣.

In regards to sister Krone's name and it's pronunciation: I think it's being pronounced Kurone "Ku - Ro - Ne" because they're japanese speakers approximating the english word "crone". So while her name is essentially "Crone" they filter that through japanese characters which generally have the equivalent of consonant-vowel pairs. I'm having flashbacks of drilling them now "Ka Ki Ku Ke Ko, Ra Ri Ru Re Ro, Ma Mi Mu Me Mo, Fa Fi Fu Fe Fo" etc. There is actually a solitary N in Japanese, in fact it's one of the only solitary consonant sounds that regularly appears, but I'm sure there's a reason it's not normally used when approximating foreign words. Anyway, just thought that was an interesting thing in this episode.

I was just thinking about this and I wonder if the reason they pronounce her name "Ku.Ro.ne" instead of "Ku.Ro.N" is actually because they're mis-converting "Crone", as the "E" is silent, but in Japanese would be pronounced. (also the hard C sound doesn't exist by itself in Japanese and so becomes Ku since the vowel part if Ku is often silent in Japanese). Anyway I'm probably overthinking this XD

This episode was episode was so intense. The last four episodes are even more intense! Cannot wait for your reactions to those. And no need to apologize the rage out towards the end, I think it was warranted lol. I got this idea about "Grandma" when you said that she was also a kid at a farm. What if she wasn't a kid at a farm? What if she was already an adult when the world got the way that it was and she witnessed everything happen? It might be crazy, but I think that'd be interesting. Anways, loved your reaction as always. I'm so glad you're enjoying this series! :D

Finally, was able to become a patron again! And, this episode, solidified my love for this show. It only goes uphill from here whilst at the same time dragging you through hell and punching you with emotions without anything to comfort you with. Best show 10/10.

The flashbacks of Sister Krone was just wrong. The upbringing, the never-ending cycle. It's hell. Utter hell😬😬😭😭😭.

kamenriderhime

YAY! Welcome back!!!!!! Oh man, this show just balances wholesomeness, whimsy and hope so perfectly with terror, fear and despair!!!!!!! Truly 10/10!!!!!!!!

kamenriderhime

Oh lord, I just finished eps 9 and 10 and I'm still in total shock!!!!!!! I hope you love my reactions! Hahaha thank you, I'm glad to hear it!!!!!!!! Ohhhh that's an interesting theory about Grandma! That would be a pretty interesting twist, if she had been around since the start of "farms" and such. Thank you so much for your compliments!!!!!!!!! I'm really happy you're enjoying my reactions and that my love of the show comes through!!!!!!!! ^_^

kamenriderhime

Oh wow!!!!!!!!! You and me both!!!!!! Everything seems totally over, doesn't it?!?!?! That's exactly how I felt! OH LORD I can totally see how the crack could have been Emma's neck and I think I would have died on the spot lol. It's incredibly hard to watch but impossible to stop watching, you know?? Hahaha I'm so glad we had similar reactions to THAT scene........!!!!! This was an intense one for me and I'm glad you got a lot out of it too!!!! Thank you so much, I'm so happy you liked my reaction and I hope you love my future ones as well!!!!!!!!!!! ^_^

Mom’s justifications for how good a life they have if they stay reminds me of the more humane farms in real life. Like free range chicken. The chicken have plenty of space to roam and are treated well without a care in the world. But that doesn’t change the fact that they’ll mostly be killed while they’re still young enough to be tasty, which in the case of a free range chicken is about 60 to 80 days. Which is actually pretty generous compared to the majority of chicken.
