Hey everyone!  Here is my reaction/review for season 4, episode 9.  I loved having another Red Riot ep, and we finally got to see the details of that flashback from a few eps ago!!!  I love the themes about having confidence in your own abilities that we've seen the last few eps.  Great stuff!  PLUS ULTRA!!!!  Enjoy!   ~  KRH

I'm curious as to how fatgums quirk works would he just have to eat a lot to go back to normal also it's cool how it isn't just shock abortion kind of quirk but it can store a release the attacks

This was my favorite episode this season, by far. Getting his skin punched off must really hurt, but he kept fighting. The middleshool name was another sign that Horikoshi loves star wars, Mustafar In the flashback, he said he cut his eye when it activated suddenly when he was little. Did you notice the scar over his right eye before? In the manga the flashback happened after the fight, not during it, that was an interesting choice to make from the Anime, not a wrong one, it was still an awesome episode. When Crimson Riot talked about Chivalary in the manga there was an addition to it: “A strong spirit. We associate it with men, but it ain’t about Gender! It ain’t about confidence or being fearless.” Kirishima and Deku are somewhat similiary and opposite. Both wanted to be a hero. But. Kirishima had a power, but his spirit wavered when it mattered. Deku had no power but he just run in to help. This shows, no matter who you are, if you have power or not, made a mistake. You can become a hero.

Yeah good point! I'm not sure how he'll get back to normal....but it is cool that he can store/release attacks too, not just absorb them!!!

So well said, and thanks for all the info! I actually didn't notice the scar!! Great point that there's comparison and contrast between him and Izuku....and I love the lesson in all of it about having the power to be a hero no matter what!! Great ep!
