Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season 3 ep 5 of Vox Machina!!! Oh wow guys, what a great ship ep! It was nice to see more of Kima and Allura and their background! Plus, how can you not love the demon vs dragon fight?! I'm also happy that things are turning around a bit for Percy and Vex. But what's the meaning of this scene with Thordak?! I guess we'll find out! Can't wait to see more! Enjoy! ~ MH

So the way the two groups pit the demon Yenk against Vorugal did happen, and holy crap they somehow made it even cooler. The way it happened was I believe Scanlan used a spell scroll or something to summon the demon and then used the spell Dominate Monster to urge it to fight Vorugal. 20:39 I was freaking screaming “WTF?! A Stone Cold Stunner?!” 🤣 I’ve never watched a ton of wrestling, but I know the move and it was glorious! I really like how they made Allura and Kima a big part of this fight, it’s a nice change as I’m pretty sure they weren’t around for this in the campaign and they hadn’t gotten a chance to show off yet. They’re fan favorite NPCs like Gilmore. In the campaign they actually had Raishan here disguised as a random Dwarf named Larkin who ended up leaving the fight to them. “Where’s Larkin?” became a running joke in the fandom cause the whole party immediately picked up that Larkin was Raishan except Liam(Vax), who I think didn’t realize what was happening till the fight was over and asked the pre mentioned question. 😆 Also holy crap they’re on fire with Pike’s dialogue this season. She keeps cracking me up. “Can it, De Rolo! I’m having a day!”

It took me a second this morning to get my bearings because Episode 5 published AFTER Episode 6, lol. Don’t worry, I figured it out. Allura and Kima’s dynamic is interesting and it at least prompts Vex and Percy to think about possibilities. Full disclosure: I finished this season before you started reacting so I have context for some of these earlier episodes now that were lost the first time. “Is (the current objective) going well?” Me: Does it ever? Vorugaal was interesting, I haven’t seen too many concepts of ice dragons. In fact the whole thing about Scanlan and Grog watching it and taking bets kinda reminded me of Death Battle. (Speaking of that there may be some RWBY related news regarding that soon.) 👀 Long story short, people don’t keep level heads when it comes to their SOs, but somehow Percy and Vex were smart enough to split up and not cling to each other. The real final boss was a hairless Pike though… as for Chateau Shorthalt, that’s for next time. :) Technical info: Amazon usually only has the one mid show ad break, there were two here, which seems odd. But there will never be zero on Prine, so keep that in mind for remembering where to check to cut out ads, much like remembering to letting the Haikyuu end of episode previews play through. :)

Oh wow, that's good to know! HAHAH I can't believe I missed that it was a stunner hahahaha! I enjoy that Allura and Kima got more time too. And I love the inside joke about Where's Larkin! Lol Pike has some great lines this time around for sure!

Oh that's weird, it shows that they posted in order on my end. I can see the Death Battle vibes for sure! Good to know there's RWBY news coming! Hairless Pike was quite the sight to see. And don't get me started on the Chateau lol. Good to know about Amazon! It's different each time, sometimes there are none (just the one at the beginning that I let play through before hitting the record button).
