Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to ep 4 of Kamen Rider Gavv!!! OMG you guys!!! Not only did we get debatably the BEST KAMEN RIDER FORM EVER, Kamen Rider Stay Puft, but we also go an in-depth flashback and confirmation of what happened in Shouma's past :((( I loved the granny and grandpa who took him in, they were so wonderful and introduced Shouma to the beautiful world of MARSHMALLOWS :D Also, what's really going on with Suga?! And who was that at the end?!?!!? Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

The more I see it, the more I feel like it is true. It's all happy. Go lucky but I feel like toward the middle and the end it'll be dark like in gaim, heck he even had his own version of the suika arms

You know what's funny? In the promotion image of Gavv where they show you a few of the other forms, The Marshmellow form's silhoutte is clearly referencing the Giga-Chad meme. xD The pose and positioning is far too similar, and the silhouette fits the bill more than that form really should. xD ...I'm just going to say it, I liked the Marshmellow Gochizo more when I thought his nose was his mouth. HE LOOKED LIKE HE WAS POUTING, IT WAS SO CUTE... Weird we got the 'Assist' Gochizo so quickly for this form, but I guess that's because there's no weapon toys to sell for this form. ...But I suppose the twins taunting how Shoma's mom is in the belly of some random monster is confirmation that they did not make Shoma eat his mother! ...Not to say that I wanted this plot point to happen, but with how sadistic that family is... I'm just kind of expecting the worst. xD I'm kicking myself for not commenting about Gavv's ability to generate Gochizo in the first episode. However I did have the thought that maybe the more elite monsters(like from the family) had abilities like making minions and being able to spit up weapons that they can use. Hence why the first monster went: "OH CRAP!" and started RUNNING when he saw Gavv using his sword's ability... I bet he's seen his superiors use similar weapons... But probably to more devastating effect. xD I have a feeling the minions that the elite monsters can make are more deadly though... Maybe they're like little "Critter" or "Langoliers" monsters to be a dark, evil version of the Gochizos... Or maybe(and this theory I'm leaning more towards) they're the Agents like the ones we saw in this episode....It's honestly kind of cool that these guys aren't total push-overs, and are actually pretty skilled! Makes Gavv feel more and more like an underdog. But I do have another theory I'll share...I've got a feeling that this old couple is going to get real, REAL worried about Shoma. I mean after hearing what he's been through, the circumstances they found him in, the circumstances that he left them in? I'm sure they'd be worried about where he disappeared off to, enough to hire... An investigator, Hanto... Wasn't it? Of course, finding one person in a country even like Japan is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I'm sure he'll be asking people on the street(Like maybe that one guy from the last episode? ;D Maaaybe the kid?) , but I can see him going to Amane for help. I'm also sure he'd be quite surprised to hear Amane had actually seen him and took care of him for a day, as much as she's surprised to hear that people are actually looking for Shoma! Since Shoma's involved, I can see Amane forcibly joining the investigation... Though I bet Hanto's going to be the one who finds Shoma... Passed out due to hunger. Now I'm not sure if they'll come out with Fuwa Mallows... But if they don't, well... I mean pretty much any regular ol' Marshmallow would do. o: My personal choice would be "Kiwa Marshmallows" or you might know them better in some places as the Hello Kitty Marshmallows. xD I feel like it's the right size for a Marshmallow you eat on your own, plus it's got a little flavored jelly candy in the middle of it. Strawberry would be perfect for Maru Mallows(the Pink Gochizo). ...RIP, Fuwa Mallow 1 and Maru Mallow 1. I was going to give you a hint about what snack to bring in next week, but not much point if people are just going to tell you the answer. xD

Jeez...Shouma can't catch a break, can he? The idea of him purposefully isolating himself does remind me of Showa-era Rider, and some of the early Heisei stuff.

Hi Hime :) I mentioned smores because I knew they were marshmallows, but I didn't want to spoil too much, in the end you still got what you needed ^^. Yes, it is indeed the same actor in the photo as the one who plays Shoma, so of course there is a resemblance lol. But I know that after this episode, and Shoma deliberately not seeing the couple again to avoid them becoming a target, making Shoma sad too, there were once again many references to Kekera from Geats, since his whole principle was that a Kamen Rider hides his sadness behind a Rider mask, so Shoma is the current perfect definition. I'm not going to lie, I already knew that Shoma was from the same family, his name "Stomach" had leaked before the release of the first episode, I wanted to put you on the right track without spoiling it either, but luckily they didn't keep the mystery too long. Speaking of mystery, I also didn't expect it to directly show his mother's death, at least the "she's alive" theories will be cut short, since there seems to be little chance she survived. The only way there is a return is if the spices have an influence on those who eat them and whoever ate the dark treat from Shoma's mother somehow inherited her spirit. Small remark that I saw a reactor make, the "agents" have different colors, the ones that Shoma faces are white and blue, which are the colors associated with Shita and Jeebh, we see an orange one who follows Hanto and seems more associated with Nyelv, as for the one in the flashback who keeps Shoma on the ground, it is red, probably for Lango. It will be interesting to follow that I think. Finally, I said that our mystery character would have a sweet name, it's Kenzo Suga, and I think they chose that because it sounds like Sugar. But apparently it has the kanji for sour in it, so keep an eye on that. He mentions working on a way to fight the granutes, so you can easily guess that Hanto will eventually become a rider, just FYI, the two gochizos that Suga captured are chocolate themed, so if you liked a mashmallow Kamen Rider, how about a chocolate one ? In the end, add some biscuits and my smores idea makes even more sense lol.

Nyelv (the older brother) when he left the twins went into a room that looked quite a bit like the one that Shouma escaped from in the opening episode. I watch a different sub than you and it translated his comment at the end as “so they’ve found him already, I see…” - so he knows. Jeeta and Shibh (the twins) give me a real vibe like they were inspired by The Shining. (Come play with us, Danny!) you know what I mean, at least I hope you do…. Apparently Shouma is the only Granute with a red Gavv, so there’s a story there too… Suga seems to know a lot - and the George comparison is accurate, but George wasn’t exactly trustworthy either… but I thought of something else. Hanto’s editor friend was pretty quick to shoot down his excitement… his arguments make sense, but what if there’s something more sinister behind them? Remember when Shouma is eating things, a lot of them he’s never tried before - which is one of the reasons Oja and Oba took to him (that and he works fast!) So when he goes yum, he’s like really feeling it. Also when he ate the marshmallow, and you did, you both looked down at the same time and I thought for sure you were looking to see if one of those minions popped out of you! XD We saw what happened to the mom, but the only clue about the dad is he’s no longer in charge and Lango called him a nutcase… so what actually happened? Wouldn’t surprise me if there was a coup involved… Because Shouma is half human could it be his powers didn’t manifest until he came to Earth? Too bad he has to leave people sad for their own safety though. (Also, grocery shopping is hazardous!) Next week’s snack: HOT AND SPICY 🥵 potato chips. (I don’t know if they’re always gonna tell me what next week is on their previews, but I’ll try to keep you updated)

Oh that's a good point!! Yeah he def knows. I can totally see the Shining vibes lol! Yeah true, they specifically call him the Red Gavv, implying there isn't another one. I know, George had his shady moments too! I'm really curious about Suga. OMG I know, when Shouma says yum, he says it from his soul!!!! OMG hahaha!!! I purposely looked down because he was doing it...only the most I'd get is some kicks from a sugared up baby, not the minions :P Yeah good call, just what happened with the dad anyway?! I guess it makes sense that Shouma's powers didn't manifest until he came to earth. Grocery shopping is the worst!!! Especially at peak times :O oooooh good to know about the chips, thanks!! Hi Spadeas! :) Ahhh yes smores would've been a good choice too!!! In this case it's all good, I guess this is a "good spoiler" haha! Hahaha yeah it took me a second to realize that was really the same actor :P That's so true about Shouma having to leave the couple behind, and the parallels to past situations in Kamen Rider! Ohhh sorry you got spoiled but thanks for gently putting me on the right path without confirming anything lol. I know right?! I expected them to be way more subtle about the whole mom thing. Oooh is that who it was, Lango?? Good to know about the kanji too. OMG I'd love a chocolate rider!!! :O Hahaha yeah then the smores would really be perfect right?!

HAHAHA no way really?! That's amazing!! That makes me like it even more lol! OMG now that you mention it I can totally see the pouty face :O Well at the very least, the taunting does confirm it wasn't him who did it! I hear you, it wouldn't surprise me for them to make things that dark! OHHHH that's such a good call about the Gochizo's reaction actually!!! That's a good call about the possible tiers of monsters too. And yeah, they put up a real fight which makes the stakes pretty real for Gavv!! OHHHHH that'd be amazing if the old couple hired Hanto, what a way to connect it all! Taking it to Amane would connect it all even further! And it would help explain how we all end up back in each other's lives. Oooooh Kiwa or Hello Kitty are excellent choices!!! Those sound amazing :O :O :O RIP to some pretty great marshmallows!! Haha yeah I thought about trying to guess from hints, but in a case like this, I guess we can just chalk it up to a "good" spoiler for folks to tell me, since it enhances our experience!!!

It's true! Or at least it's coincidence... BUT THAT'S THE SECOND COINCIDENTAL GIGA-CHAD REFERENCE IN KAMEN RIDER! (The first being the Jyamato Buckle's transformation theme.) xD It just looks so much cuter, it's like a Kirby Pout. T0T You can't lose with designs inspired by Kirby! ...Oh well, MaruMallow's got it covered. Though it's less of a pout and more of it being angy. SO ANGY. IT'S CUTE. Oh no no, Kiwa just slaps the Hello Kitty brand on their bags when they sell them here. xD I've seen them pop up in Meijer, so they might have them in other stores if they sell Japanese Treats. o: Well... It might take a while for me to recommend a particular item for this Gochizo. I like spicy foods, but not so much spicy snacks. xD I feel like you get anything that says: "Flaming hot" on the bag, and you might be good. BTW, speaking of Gochizos, the Gochizo order is finally coming in! o: Since they're probably coming in when I'm going to be out of town, you'll probably see them sometime during the week of the 6th. o:
