Special thanks to Leonie for editing this review!!! ❤️

Hey everyone! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an absolutely fire way to end this series!!!! Not gonna lie, I was HORRIFIED by the Dio parts here and was so rooting for Lucy lol!!! I'm also really happy for Johnny that he got that resolution with his dad, that's amazing for him!!! In the end, the power of the corpse was too much for any one person to possess. I think this series puts forth an interesting idea about controlling/playing God vs. experiencing what life has to offer and taking the good with the bad, learning from both. And WOW, that little epilogue!! MARCO WHY!!!! Like seriously, what the heck Araki sensei!!! Lol! I'm so happy we made it through this journey together and I can't wait to experience Part 8 with you too!!! Enjoy! ~ MH

From the moment I knew that you really liked Gyro, there were two things that were going to break your heart. His death scene, and the fact that Marco is not only dies, but the reveal was like: "Oh yeah, that happened. Anyways-" The audacity of Araki. People claim that Rohan is his Expy, but are we sure it's not secretly DIO? Are we sure that Araki isn't in his ARAKI era? >:T ...Anyways, Steel Ball Run is pretty damn good. o: Like to me it feels like he took all that he learned since Phantom Blood to Stone Ocean, and then tried making Phantom Blood again with all that he's experienced... And it just all comes together pretty nicely. I'm really hoping that they keep Johnny's VA from All Star Battle for the anime, because I think he really nailed the line for the 'Final Lesson'. ...Honestly once you get through Jojolion, maaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyybeeeeeeeeee you should look through the JJBA Supers? > o> ...At least for the old version, where the voice actors were different. :P ...But check it out AFTER Jojolion. xD The new version of All Star Battle has the Big Bad of Part 8, so it's best to avoid it until you're pretty sure you know who the big bad was. xD I can't wait to see your reaction to Jojolion though. It's... Interesting. 😅😂 I don't know whether to say it's very like Twin Peaks or Twin Peaks: The Return, but it's quite a ride.

Hi Melissa, you've finally reached the finale of Steel Ball Run and it was truly an honor to edit the last review. It was so much fun adding in all the memes and also creating the outro. In general, the Steel Ball Run journey with you was so much fun. I read the manga myself a year ago and actually forgot about half of it. That's why it was a very good refresher before maybe the anime is announced at some point, which I really hope. I think we can expect an announcement in mid-2025 or at the end of next year at the earliest. Re-reading with you reminded me again why Part 7 is my Favorite Jojo Part. So much of it is just perfect. Araki really poured all the knowledge he's built up over 15 years into this part. Not only has his story writing gotten so much better, but his character designs and backstories are phenomenal. The Stands are more creative than ever and the concept of the Steel Balls is unique. Since the part from chapter 1 to the finale is great, fans naturally have high expectations of the final chapters. And I think Part 7 definitely lived up to that. With Diego/Dio being the final Villain, it probably evoked a lot of nostalgia, especially if you liked Part 3. As I said, I'm not the biggest fan of Dio being the final Villain again, but I have to admit that the finale is pretty well written. The point about Lucy killing Diego at the end was very good. She finally got to take someone out. And that's when we saw that she's a very strong girl. But the end was also very sad, because Johnny's farewell was so beautiful. To relive the best moments of his journey with Gyro with him. It really gave me goosebumps. And how he takes his body back to Italy and hands it over to his family. That was a really emotional moment. Of course, I would have liked us to see Johnny hand the body over to the Zeppelis. I think it would be another very emotional moment if we saw his father's reaction. But that's so typical of Jojo endings, they're really very short and to the point. I also thought the short description about Marco being released but dying very young in the end was such an asshole move by Araki. I was actually very angry with him. Why did we go on this whole journey only for Marco to die in the end? That's so frustrating. What I almost forgot to mention is the short scene where Johnny's father recognizes him as his son and wishes him all the best for the race. I thought it was nice that Araki changed his mind about George after all. Because fathers typically don't come off well in Jojo. And I think it's really good that he changed his mind. Part 7 ends in almost the same way as Part 1, on a ship, which means a new journey for our hero. The only difference this time is that Jonathan hasn't died, but is embarking on a new journey. But you won't find out what this looks like until Part 8. Before I make a brief comment on Part 8, I'd like to share my final scoring for all seven parts. My current ranking: Steel Ball Run: 10/10 Golden Wind: 9.8/10 Battle Tendency: 9.5/10 Diamond is unbreakable: 9/10 Stone Ocean: 8.55/10 SDC Battle in Egypt: 8.5/10 Phantom Blood: 8/10 SDC First Season: 7/10 After re-reading Part 7 with you, I was reaffirmed that Part 7 is simply my favorite part, because everything is consistent in this part. There are no open storylines, all the characters somehow find an end, except maybe Hotpants, that could have been done a bit better. But otherwise I'm completely satisfied with the way the part was designed by Araki. Johnny is also now my second favorite Jojo. He's knocked Joseph off his second place throne. I think he's just the best written Jojo we have so far. That will probably change a bit with Part 8, because I think Part 8 Jojo is even better written. But you'll have to find that out for yourself. I'm really looking forward to the next few weeks with you Jojolion and of course editing the videos. I'm really excited to see what you think of this part, as it's really underrated and not many people have read it. But I think you'll definitely become a fan of it. I'm also looking forward to the tier list you're going to do soon, because I'm excited to see if it matches mine.

lol loved that outro Leonie. Nice work. After chapter 94 I was worried about how things would wrap up. But for the most part I loved it. I was still holding out for a certain rival. I was hoping the corpse would bring back a certain somewhat but it’s fine. Sad to hear about Marcos but I’m guessing keeping him alive would mean curiosity later from fans on how he’s doing (idk I’m trying to make it work for me) but he’s with Gyro at least. He can say thank you for giving him extra time. And hopefully he lived long enough to enjoy life outside chains. This Diego was ferocious and foul and given his actions and words here I’m more glad to let this one go. It gave me a better end to his(their?) stories end. I cannot believe Lucy was the one to finish things off! That was absolutely amazing! What’s more amazing to me was how it didn’t end with both him and Johnny getting together. I guess my head is in universe one still but it’s also nice seeing this Jonathan thriving on his own afterwards. He does seem in a good headspace when leaving and idk why that makes the ending as satisfying as it does but it simply does. It’s possibly because that was his biggest struggle. One contrast I found interesting between the Jonathan’s is how the initial one was his own personal cheerleader throughout his hardships. Not saying he never struggled with his determination but for the most part would always pick himself back up. And for no other reason than for himself. Johnny thanks to a strict background with practically no love or affection had to learn to be his own supporter through this journey. Ironically with the help of an encourager like Gyro, Johnny was able to venture onward happily. Interesting how one Jonathan had the hardest time creating a close bond with his brother in that adoption setting, while another found a true brother through a competitive setting. OMG we never got to see Hot Pants! I totally forgot! Wished we could have gotten more clarification on that earlier. I wonder if the other parts will follow the same guidelines of part 7 with JoBros. It was more a two-man show, generally speaking. I loved this part. I’m wondering how next one will live up to my expectations if this part is considered peak. This was a phenomenal part. I hate to watch it end but I loved it. Absolutely amazing job! And thanks again Leonie for all your hard work.

Thank you so much for your praise Manny🥰. I'm really happy that you like my edits. I want to do even better for Jojolion. Look forward to the first review of Part 8 in two weeks.😉

Didn't Leonie do an amazing job?!!?! Aw I'm glad you were overall happy with it! If there's one thing we've learned about death in Jojo's, it's that it almost always sticks :( I know, I was so sad about Marco!!! I don't know what Araki's reasoning was exactly, but yeah, that makes sense that maybe he just didn't want to have to write for another character once we do the time jump to the next part. (Although he certainly wasn't too worried about that in Parts 4 or 5 haha.) I agree about this Diego, he was NOT my Diego :P In a way, it's nice to have a good eff-you ending to a truly evil Dio character, as opposed to literally cutting down in the prime a character who was more layered. OMG wasn't that SO amazing to see Lucy finally get to hand someone's arse to them lol?! After all she's been through!!! OMG, wait till you find out what actually happens in Part 8....I'm less than 20 chapters in but I think it's gonna blow your mind haha! I honestly thought that might be where they were headed too, though, since she's a Pendleton. OH that's actually a really good point about Jonathan vs. Johnny in terms of how they treat themselves!!! Jonathan had so many hardships but had enough of a foundation to keep rooting for himself and all, whereas Johnny really didn't and was so broken. Gyro made all the difference! WHOA, also really interesting about the contrast in brother situations too! OMG I know, we never really did clarify what happened to Hot Pants!!! Araki forgot? So far in Part 8, we haven't taken in that many bros yet, but I'm not too deep either. Part 7 was truly a two-man show though, with a few cool side bros coming in to help occasionally! Yeah this was such a peak part!!! Honestly I can tell you so far that I LOVE the tone of Part 8 but it's super different from Part 7!!! I think with any part, it's best to judge it as its own thing, it gets soooo hard to try and compare them because he literally reinvents the wheel every time haha. So happy you enjoyed these reviews and thank you for joining me!!!

Hi Leonie! I'm so happy you enjoyed this journey and OMG, you did an amazing job editing here!!! I truly couldn't have done it without you, and seeing all the amazing things you added to make it so much more fun was just incredible! I really hope we get an announcement soon! I couldn't agree more about how this is unequivocally the best Jojo part!!! All of Araki's work and growth over the years is on display here! I agree that the ending really delivered, and I totally get your feelings about Diego coming back as the "big" villain at the end!!! Seeing Lucy get some justice was amazing, and Gyro's goodbye was so lovely! OMG I want to see Johnny meeting the Zeppelis to deliver his body too, although part of me thinks I might drown in my own tears lol! The Marco thing was such an a-hole move hahaha!!! I honestly don't know why he did that although I tried to rationalize it for the story. It was so out of nowhere that George comes to his senses, but I love it so much for Johnny and honestly after all he's been through, why not throw a little more happiness his way lol. So true that fathers have a bad rep in Jojo though! I love the parallel of ending the story on a ship!!! Also I love your rankings!!!! You'll get to see mine in my tier list video but they're not too dissimilar! With a few exceptions of some things Araki forgot like HP lol, I absolutely agree that this was peak! Oooohhhh ok I think we're agreed on Johnny taking the #2 spot!! I can totally see why! I can't to share my thoughts on Part 8, and so far I'm REALLY enjoying it! Thank you so much for all your hard work on these videos and in future videos too! I hope Jojolion starts to get more attention too, I already really love it! Thank you again!!!

kamenriderhime

Ahhh yes I should've known better than to get my hopes up about a Zeppeli! Also the Marco thing was SO thrown in there haha, like WHAT?! You can't just drop that and then move on! LOL he does love Dio quite a bit, then again Dio didn't get his own spinoff :P Araki is totally in his Araki era and I'm here for it!! I couldn't agree more, this was truly the culmination of everything he'd done previously. Oooooh I'd love to look into those once I'm done with Part 8!! Hahhaha I LOVE Twin Peaks and the new series, so that gives me a lot of encouragement for Part 8! Honestly I've already started on it and am really enjoying it so far!!!!!!!
