Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season four, eps 1 and 2 of the Rohan live action series! DANG you guys!!! We really got a twofer, no maybe a threefer with this one! Not only did we get the entire Tonio episode from Part 4 but through the eyes of Rohan and Izumi, but we also got an adventure where Rohan and Tonio go doing some illegal fish stuff and almost pay the ultimate price for it (all for a good cause though). And THEN we get a heartfelt discussion about food, love, and life!!! I LOVE this ep!!! For a foodie and Jojo fanatic such as myself, I really don't think it gets much better! What a great note to end on! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

Tonio! You were right this week’s was so fun! Okay I really gotta read the manga because Tonio and Rohan are a duo I never thought I needed! Man now I wish this was animated in part 4 style. Rohan looked so good. This episode season you can tell he was sexy and comfortable flaunting it. lol Izumi is so Okuyasu coated. XD I loved the interaction between her and Hatsune. That was a sweet scene between the two. 🍓 That’s it for Rohan for now. But I still hunger for more. 🥲 🍴

YAY!!! I'm so happy you liked it! Wouldn't it be fun to have an animated version? Rohan was killing it here! Omg I know, he's not afraid to flaunt it lol! She totally is Okuyasu coded!!! Wasn't that a beautiful scene?! Haha I see what you did there, hunger for more XD I'm hungry for both food and Rohan now! Here's hoping they'll make more eps!

Hey Melissa, now we've finished another Jojo series, although I haven't seen the movie yet, which I will definitely watch. The finale of Rohan's series was really well done. I thought it was very cool that they combined Tonio's episode from Part 4 and the chapter from the Rohan manga, and they did it very smartly. The realization of the Part 4 episode was also phenomenal. The acting from everyone was really excellent. You really felt like you were watching a Jojo episode come to life. I also noticed that where Tonio explained what poisons were in each dish, it was never explained what was actually in the water. I would have liked to know why people start crying so hard. I assume that there is a very strong onion concentrate in it, which is why you have to cry. The extra scene with Izumi and Hatsune was also really sweet. I really liked the conversation about how valuable it is to have good food that is made with love and how that also affects your emotional state. Because that's also how it is in reality, if you get food from a loved one every day, you appreciate it much more than if you just get cheap food. convenience food from the supermarket. It also just makes you feel so much better. I thought the scene where Hatsune mentions the conversation with her grandma was really emotional and also very poetic. But I think things like that help everyone to deal with death. No matter where you go after death, you always stay with your loved ones, at least in their memories. But you also live on through recipes. If you pass on your own recipes to your family, you will always be remembered. Now I come to my overall thoughts on the Rohan series. On the whole, I really enjoyed the series. There were a few episodes that weren't quite my cup of tea, but I really liked most of them. Everyone's acting was really excellent, especially Rohan and Izumi. These two really make a great team. And I wish in the next seasons we might get to see a more romantic side of Rohan. I mean, we've seen him be emotional and nice before. He can really be that when he wants to be. And Izumi would really be the perfect woman for him. I mean, the two actors are already a couple in real life, so now they have to become one in the show. Anyway, I had great fun watching this series with you and I'm already looking forward to the Stardust Crusaders OVAs. I've only seen a few clips of it and I'm curious to see how they've realized it.

Hey Leonie!! I hope you love the movie too! I'm so glad you enjoyed this, I agree that they did a good job putting together the story for this ep. I absolutely love the live action reenactment of Part 4, it's so amazing to see it come to life! Ohhhhh that would make total sense if the water had onion properties haha! I loved that scene too. Food can be so meaningful when it's from a loved one and being presented from the heart. :) That's so well said, dealing with loss is tough and it helps to be able to cherish the memories! Recipes are a great thing to pass down too - it's something that can be maybe even more meaningful than a physical heirloom in some cases. I'm so glad you enjoyed the series overall! I hear you, the chemistry between the two would really lend itself to a romance plot! It makes total sense that they're together in real life lol! They're a great combo - "golden retriever" girl and "black cat" guy haha!! You know the type :P I'm so glad you enjoyed watching along with me, yay!!! I've only ever seen a few clips of the OVAs too, they should be interesting!!!! XD Can't wait!!
