Hey everyone! WOW!!!!! I was not ready for this batch you guys! Not only do we get more backstory for Gyro, more heartbreaking scenes of Marco, and more clever Stand action, but we also get the reveal of the VILLAIN and the main plot/goal of the entire part!!!! The real reason for the Steel Ball Run Race is.....not what I was expecting!!!! If I'm reading it right, this is gonna be pretty bizarre :P Not to mention Gyro is gone, what?!?! What a batch! I can't wait for more! Enjoy! ~ MH

Hi Hime :) If you knew how many times I wanted to say that SBR is Jojo's holy bible or that it's an holy part. Now I can say it and you know why lol. After a child from the lowlands who becomes the adopted son of a nobleman and a vampire with delusions of grandeur, an immortal wanting to defeat the power of the sun, a murderer wanting a simple life, a mafia boss wanting to remain incognito, a priest confusing his gods, we now have the president of the USA. From a status point of view, he is probably the antagonist with the most public "power", if not knowing his stand at the moment. As for the shadow on the train, are you really sure? I know that the rules have been bent more than once, but stands are normally only visible to other stand users, is Lucy one of them? And they don't cast shadows (they don't have a physical body to block the light). So maybe the president has henchmen and it was their power but not his.

Hi Spadeas! :) Oh wow haha!! You did well keeping it a secret! In terms of the villains we've had, that tracks :P But yeah, this might be the first villain with that much public power. Diavolo certainly had a lot of power in Italy but probably couldn't make the kinds of global political decisions that a president could. Ooooh you're right, I'm not sure if Lucy has a Stand so that might not work huh? I thought for a minute that maybe the shadow was the Stand....but the henchman theory makes more sense!

I love how action packed these were. I miss the nitty-gritty/odd/confusing/weird/lightbulb going on in my head when figuring out stuff during battles. I miss it and this section brought it. I didn’t know how bad I was aching for a good portion of concentrated bizarre fighting. I don’t have much to say. Whatever is going on with the hand living inside Johnny’s hand is gross and horrific. That’s it. I can’t think of what that could mean if it isn’t a stand. I thought since it seems like stands in this part seem to have a surrealistic l touch, then his is manifesting from within but that’s not what it sounds like. But yikes I’d pass out if that was me. 😬 Honest to holiness up there—☝️ When you mentioned crying about Marco I felt a pang in my chest when seeing the panels. He really is a baby in there. He’s so tiny and is just trying to get through this day by day. I went to El Salvador when I was 12 with my family. We went to this restaurant that was partly outside. It had an ocean view and this kid, younger than I was was with a black eye was offering my dad a shoe shine. My dad gave him $10 free of charge. But that’s what Marco reminds me of. It really makes me want to cry. :( The villain, Mr. President, I’ve seen him numerous times before. I should never base anything on image alone when it comes to Jojo, but I should have in this case. He definitely looks the part. I never thought he would be president though. That makes so much sense as to why these people keep showing up taking on our guys. I started wondering that at Stroheim. And OMG Stroheim!!! As you were explaining “hm Stroheim..” it also didn’t click for me till a second later. XD What?! That’s crazy! I love that we’re getting that cyborg version here. That’s freaking awesome. I know that’s not part 2 version but it’s awesome Araki brought that in. That also made me a bit teary for some reason 🥲 It took me a minute to figure out what your idea behind the corpse might be. I don’t know why things didn’t click immediately. Everything is bizarre so I just put a pin in it. However after the minute passed I got off my elbows and started thinking “Nononono!” If it’s going in that direction— well honestly IDK my initial reaction is “no!” We’ve been there before, revisited that area in the past. No. Same time what would come of this?! What will it even be like here in this version. But let’s not jump the gun yet. We have yet to know why that would be incorporated in here. Johnny’s already this part’s version of… I..erm..my heart and head hurt. 🫨 There’s too many unknowns to freak out right now, self. Calm down 😮‍💨 All I can say for sure is Gyro looks even more ravishing in the executioner getup. I’m ready, willing and able to give Gyro my head any day. 🥵

Omg I hear you! The way Araki does action is really something to behold! I was thinking the same thing, that this has to be his Stand, but I started to put it together a bit more as the chapters went on and I think my theory was confirmed here in the comments :P Poor Marco!!!! He's such a poor baby. Oh my gosh, I teared up reading your story about the boy who shined shoes in El Salvador!!!! :O It makes me wanna cry too!!!! I'm glad your dad helped him out! Yeah I've seen the president too, but his later look, which will be a bit different! You just never know with Jojo's lol, looks can be deceiving! Stroheim!!!!! I get why it made you teary, it's so nostalgic and like having a little slice of our old universe here!!! I love that he just looks exactly the same haha. OMG that was my reaction exactly when I started to realize what was going on with the corpse! I was like "please don't make Jesus a Jojo reference....!" Lol!!! I get why you're so overwhelmed, it's a LOT lol! That last chapter had my head spinning! Gyro really does rock that executioner gear doesn't he?! LOL I laughed so hard at your last sentence!!!! Hey Ryoux!!! Welcome!! I'm so happy you're loving my Jojo reactions, yay! This series is so close to my heart, it's always nice to have people to share it with! ^_^ That's an interesting idea for Part 8, I actually thought about doing Part 7 that way but decided it might not be so coherent or interesting for me to read to the camera lol, so I did it more review-style. But if enough folks want to see me just read it aloud, I'd be down for that! Definitely something to keep in mind!!! Thanks for the suggestion :D
