Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to Bad Batch, season 3 episode 8! Oh wow!!! Who knew we were getting a Fennec adventure in this one! Makes sense that we'd need to get in touch with someone who had lots of underground info and intel....but shoot, it's everyone for themselves out here in the bounty hunting world, and I fear Fennec just sold them out!! It was quite an icky swampy adventure along the way though! And can we all agree that Omega and Crosshair meditating is the most wholesome, peaceful, and healing thing ever?! Great ep! Enjoy! ~ MH

Haha I love the deadpan no reaction from Crosshair to Omega mentioning how Phee is "a liberator of ancient wonders!", Crosshair is all about facts and logic, similar to Tech I suppose. I see the Disney thumbnail kind of spoiled who was going to appear in this episode, I hope they don't do it for the next one for the reveal of the contact. Love Hunter telling Omega to ask Crosshair about getting his hand fixed. Crosshair won't listen to him, but he knows the bond is strong with Omega and Crosshair so can get through to him that way. Great leadership shown by Hunter there. Fennec's bar looks fun, have a drink, get shot and have a bottle smashed on your head! :D Yeah I agree with your thoughts that Fennec does have a code, which she later mentions (and is a lot like Boba Fett, hence the link up between the two later), and while you are on the job with her, she'll have your back. However don't expect her to have any morality about whether or not she'd hand in Omega to the Empire if given that job. Perhaps, like Boba, she softens as she ages, but she isn't there yet. Yeah Crosshair's hand issues are psychosomatic. His hand can't stop shaking as he is still traumatised by his time with the imps, especially with his confinement on Tantiss. He needs to heal, and that is only done with self-reflection and time, something he doesn't have either of just now. The main showrunner of Bad Batch, Jennifer Corbett, served in the military so knows all about these issues, and I love that they are exploring PTSD with Crosshair into the story. So Wrecker, Hunter and Fennec are having fun in space Florida. More than the smells, the space crocodiles that we see later, and that you can't breathe freely or else you'd die; I'd hate the flies buzzing about more than anything there, eugh... Fennec mentions that the mark is as slippery as they come, and my god he was a toughie to take down. All those stun shots and he was still coming for them! I think he's a space praying mantis. Fennec definitely needed the boys help to bring him in. The meditation scene is delightful and something that can definitely help Crosshair, though its not an overnight cure. You can hear the pang of regret when Omega mentions that he's missed a lot with him saying "I know". Crosshair puts on a facade, but he's actually quite sensitive behind that mask. Obviously I won't spoil who the contact is, but Fennec doesn't exactly double cross our boys here either. She merely contacts the person, though of course its done in such a way that our crew may become in peril.

All work, no reward. Kind of a negative a reward since they’ll most likely have someone after them. Crosshair & Omega 🌅🧘‍♀️ 🧘‍♂️ 🐶

Crosshair is a bit similar to Tech in the way he processes things, so it makes it even cuter to have Omega saying a line like that to him haha. Ohhh did the thumbnail spoil it? I don't think I saw it before I played the ep, I guess that's a good thing! Hunter was smart to delegate to Omega for sure! Fennec's bar looked pretty wild right!!! Good point, she does have some standards but at the end of the day, once the job is done, is everyone for themselves. No kidding about the showrunner!!!! Wow! I'm glad they're addressing issues like this. It makes total sense with everything he's been through. Space Florida, OMG!!! Hahahahaha!!! Yeah he was slippery alright, they definitely needed a crew for that! Crosshair definitely has a lot of feelings underneath his stony exterior, and the meditation scene was just so good. It won't happen overnight for sure, but he's taking steps! Ohhh ok, so it wasn't exactly a double cross, hmmm!!! I can't wait to see who the contact is!!
