Throwback Thursday (2/16/2023) - What J-Hope's MAMA Means to Me Now (Patreon)

It's always hard for me to talk about my Mom without crying. Even as I write this to you right now my eyes are watering and my heart is hurting. I do miss her tremendously. 

Even though it is hard to talk about, I feel it is important. Today, I reflect on J-Hope's hit song 'MAMA'. When we first watched this performance on February 2021 (see reaction here)  it made me feel even more appreciative of everything that my Mom did for us and it caused me to reflect on her sacrifices as a single mother to ensure we had the best upbringing that we could have. We grew up poor for most of our childhood, but when I look back I can honestly say that we were happy, because we always had each other. 

Today, this song is one that I listen to when I am hurting and need to reflect on her goodness, even though it is hard.
