re: the slam/flipping game this game is called "ddakji" (also sometimes seen romanized as "ttakji") and is a Pog-style game, as you could tell. obviously, though, the cards are pretty big and there is no devoted "slammer" piece; all pieces are the same kind of folded paper tile. personally I love watching this game, although sadly our BTS boys are really bad at it, so they struggled to finish it up LOL. I first became familiar with ddakji via the Korean game show <i>Running Man</i>, and it's always amazing to watch there... the MC of <i>Running Man</i> (and one of South Korea's most beloved MCs), Yoo Jaesuk, is one of the most skilled ddakji players you'll ever see. that man can flip even the most stubborn tile like it's magic! I think watching him doing has given me an appreciation for how much skill can go into that game. PS: your pronunciation of "chuseok" was PERFECT! Nico, you are really doing great with your Korean pronunciation ♥
