Ran more video experiments this weekend and starting to dip my toes into creating more of a story than a set of images on a theme, interested in peoples impressions.

Gif 1 doesn't have any face redrawing or upscaling but this is mostly due to it just coming out surprisingly well on its own.

Gif 2 redraws the face every frame seperately (using automatic detailer) which causes that slight flickering but did fix an otherwise horror face.

Gif 3 I rendered the face seperately in animatediff and then composited the two animations on top of each other which I think is the best result. The input video has a slight blue light source coming from the right which is present on the face render but not on the main. I probably need to put more expression in too, she's deadeyeing the viewer.

As a series the lighting changes drastically from 2 to 3 but that is because I changed the lighting in the video source (they all start as 3d animations) and I just didn't go back to redo gif 2. I think the different face techniques is also partly to blame for the lack of consistency gif to gif.

Overall I'd like to mix gifs and images into stories in the future but couldn't really think of any still images for this one.

You are doing some incredible work here. Honestly, I feel like you're breaking new ground. That first shot especially, with all the different frames being different hues. Seriously impressive.
