Hey, all... here's a quick Zero Day update: a peek at the entrance Lobby of the Nanti Strides, the starship that you, the player, will travel on to Boink. 

This is another Blender render, and believe it or don't, this is straight out of the render rip with no retouching. 3D scenery with character art on flat transparent planes in the scene. It was an experiment, and I think it worked. I will likely do more of this. 

Also, while the shading and toning on Cobalt is painted onto his character art, the lighting on the two desk attendants is actually generated in Blender, through the use of emission maps. The Delos at left has one which provides the facial light, and the Foozle at right has two separate ones for the facial light and the blue backlight. 

Those of you on the Skypad discord server also got to hear a snippet of the audio for this scene, complete with crowd noises and light background jazz.

Holy cow that’s looking sharp and great. Interesting to see how the blender lighting and your own are mixed so well. Good stuff.
