One Summer Night (Patreon)

It's the first night of summer, and it's getting hot outside.

This image is actually made from a collection of various leftovers and experiments:

* displacement maps created to simulate weathered, gnarly wood

* trying out that orange and teal lighting thing that's all the rage these days

* Theatrical lighting instead of realistic lighting.

* A wooden railing I once made, purely because I saw it in a photograph

* the "bed" is a leftover from some cloth simulation tests I did a couple years back.

* I made it fuzzy by messing with poser's hair simulation settings.

Image was originally inspired by Barry Blair, of Aircel Comics fame, but ended up being tweaked so much, that it ended up bearing little resemblance to the image of his which inspired it.

Also blame Kung Fu Panda 3, which made me want to try this kind of lighting.
